7A Unit 5 Lets celebrate! 【教学目标】1.能听、说、读、写单词west, way, usually, through,短语in the west, in manyways,并了解其含义。能听懂、会说单词 neighbour, shine。2. 让学生了解通过列一个写作计划来编排信息。 3. 通过制作写作计划和完成海报样本来培养学生写作的创新技能。4. 设计并制作一张海报。5. 要求学生能写出有关节日及庆祝方式的段落。【学习重点、难点】1. 要求学生掌握本课时有关生词和短语。 2. 培养学生笔头表达思想的能力。【学习过程】一、课前预习导学(约5分钟)预习53-54页,在书上划出并写下短语。1.全世界的节日_ 2.西方的人们_3.在里面放入蜡烛_4.在许多方面_5.给他们一些糖果的招待 _6.用大的橙色的南瓜做灯_7.灯透过(切出来的)眼睛鼻子和牙齿照耀着。二、课堂学习研讨(约25分钟)(2)Practise the phrase:in the west.How do people celebrate Halloween ? (People celebrate it by dressing up,playing trick or treat, making pumpkin lanterns, having Halloween parties and eating lots of special chocolates and sweets). Oh, they have many ways to celebrate Halloween.(3)学习单词way:We also celebrate our Chinese New Year in many ways. Practise the phrase in many ways.How do people play trick or treat? (They usually knock on theirneighbours doors and try to get a treat, or they play a trick on theneighbour ) (4)学习单词usually, neighbour . How do people make pumpkin lanterns? (They cut out eyes, the nose and sharpteeth, then put candles in them). Do you know why they put candles in them?(Because the light can shine through them)学习单词shine, through, 可用动作、表情来表示。 3. Introduce: We will make a display about Festival around the world! What doyou have to do for it? (We have to make posters showing our favouritefestivals ). Do you know how to make a poster? First, you can learn to make awriting plan. Task 2 P49. Read the information by themselves several times. Then tell the students:Here is Millies writing plan. She wants to make a poster showing herfavourite festival Halloween for school display. Read them silently and tryto understand them and find the way of showing your favourite festival.
