10、you meet？ 你遇见了什么人？(要求用复数形式名词),(2)kind译为“种，类”常用of连用。a kind of一种，two kinds of两种。of后的名词可以是单数，也可是复数。如： We sell all kinds of hats我们出售各式各样的帽子。 Do you have that kind of book？你有那类书吗？ 3I like thrillers but I dont like romances 我喜欢惊险片，不喜欢言情影片。 (1)but是转折连词，译为“但是”，用来连接两个并列分句，而且位于表示转折的句首。此句前面肯定，后面否定，表达两个相反的动作，故用

11、but来连接。,(2)thriller名词，译为“惊险小说(剧本或电影)”，其词根是thrill，后者作动词讲，译为“(使)毛骨悚然”，“(使)激动”，如：a thrilling movie令人毛骨悚然的电影。thrill作名词讲是“使人激动或毛骨悚然的事物”。如： Meeting the famous footballer is a great thrill for him 同著名的足球运动员见面使他雀跃万分。 (3)romances在句中译为“言情影片”，是可数名词，故用复数，它也可作不可数名词，译为“传奇色彩”“浪漫心理”。如： the romance of life in the wi
