1、 教学设计Unit1 Can you play the guitar?Section B 1a-1f教学目标 Knowledge aims:(1)单词及词组:instruments(piano,violin,guitar,drums),(play + 球类、棋类、牌类) (play +the 乐器) “or”的用法 (2)句型:“Can you play.”“yes,I can / No, I cant.”“-What can you do? -I can.,but I cant.”Ability aims: 通过对课文1a-1f的学习及操练,提高学生的听说能力;Emotion aims:通过
2、学习用英文表达“I can.,but I cant.”这个话题,引导学生联系生活表达自己能够做的事情,激发他们学习英语的兴趣。教学重难点 (1)通过课文1a-1f的学习及操练,掌握重点的单词词组及句型; (2)提高同学们的听说能力,激发学生联系生活用英文表达的学习兴趣。学情分析 There are 34 students in the class.The students has a middle level English ability .One third of students are good at English and they are interested in English
3、.One third of students are in middle level and they have a strong desire to learn English well,but the learning method is not so good, so their grades are just so so. About ten students are afraid to learn or lazy to learn English. They are not interested in English. However,this lesson is not diffi
4、cult, so I try to balance good students and poor students, I will pay more attention to asking students who are not good at English to answer the easy question or role play the easy situation in order to raise their confidence and interest to study English.教材分析 This lesson is in Unit1/Section B 1a-1
5、f of PeP Grade seven English Book.The topic is Can you play the guitar.This lesson is not difficult,we have to lead students to know how to describe “can you.?,yes, I can. No,I am not”.In the meantime, we have to finish two listening tests and recite the listening sentences to learn how to use “I/he
6、 can.,but I/he cant.”.And then role play the dialogue.I think The theme is familiar to us, so how to describe and finish the sentences is also easy for students to learn.教具PPT,radio,blackboard,picture教学方法 Group discussion, Pair work,Role play.教学过程Step1 Warming up (Free talk) Give students two questi
7、ons to review and free talk, then lead in music club to four instruments.Q:What can you do ? S:I can swim runsingpaintdancespeak English/.Q:What club do you want to join ?S:I want to join art club/. T:Suppose I am a student,I want to join the music club. ( music club )Q:what instruments do you know
8、in music club?(show the pictures of instruments)S: drums,piano, guitar,violin.目的:巩固上一节课的知识点,同时通过What club do you want to join ?及I want to join art club/music club 的答语来巧妙导入本节课的乐 器的学习及表达。 Step2 Presentation(1) Finish 1a and number 1b in order according to the radio.(2) Show students five pictures to l
9、ook or say ,then let them know more about the instruments from the pictures.(3) Ask and answer questions about the instruments, then ask four groups of Ss to show. Group one A: Can you play the drums? B:Yes, I can. / No, I cant.Group Two A: Can you play the violin? B:Yes, I can. / No, I cant.Group T
10、hree A: Can he play the violin? B:Yes, he can. / No, he cant.目的:根据多彩熟悉的图片,通过pair work活动,通过师生互问,学生互答进行该活动,该活动难度较简单,容易引导学生通过练习多说,熟能生巧从而掌握can的一般疑问句及答语的表达法,从而激发学生的学习英语兴趣。(4) Do the listening 1d and circle the words and phrases you hear.Then listen again and fill in the chart in 1e,check and recite the k
11、ey listening sentences one by one.(5) Talk about what Bill,Cindy and Frank can and cant do with 1e information. Example A:Can Bill play the guitar?B:Yes,he can,but he cant sing.T- S asking: T: Can Cindy play the drums? S:Yes,he can,but he cant play the piano.S- S asking: S1: Can Frank play the piano
12、? S2:Yes, he can, but he cant sing or dance.S-S asking: S3:Can Frank play the drums? S4:No,he cant. but he can play the piano. (new idea) Give them a big hand to encourage students.目的:通过学生师生对话,让学生掌握can的一般疑问句表达法和答语,同时激发学生创造新的句子用“he can.,but he cant.”(6) Language points to explain: Or 用于否定句和疑问句 Eg: He
13、 cant sing _ dance. (or/and) play 的用法: (play+球类棋类牌类) (play+the 乐器) Eg: When I was ten years old, I can play_ guitar, but I cant play_soccer. ( A.the B./ )目的:练习及时呈现,引导学生掌握这些知识点。(7) Consolidation and Extension 1)Consolidation: Ask students to finish some excises about the key points, look at the pictu

(Can, the drums)B: No, _, _he can play the guitar.(he cant,but)目的:强化巩固该课play+the +乐器知识点及句型的表达使用。2)Extension: pair work to make a dialogue,let them free talk not o

S3:I can play basketball,but I cant play ping pong.What about you? T: What can he do? Ss:He can play bask
