ABSTRACTABSTRACTAt Present the automation level of Pieking fruits and vegetables is still very low ,because Picking fruits and vegetables is a complex work. In the 21st century,countries around the world are all facing the problem of population aging,not only the high cost of labor,and not readily available. Therefore,the development of mechanized harvesting teehnology,research and development of robot Pieking fruits and vegetables are of great signifieance.Robots for Pieking fruits and vegetables are still in the phase of research and development,the commercialization of the proeess is still very diffieult,one of the main reasons is that the robots pecifie structure are weak in design and analysis.Firstly,various robots for fruit and vegetable harvesting are analyzed.Aiming at lack of the current main structure designs,the basic principle for fruit andVegetable harvesting manipulator strueture design is presented.The specifie features of pieking fruit with robots were analyzed by research on fruit orchard; a kind of4-DOF series cornnceted joint fruit harvesting manipulator was put forward.Then,several end-effeetors which were designed in practical and intelligent way weref abrieated; the structure of the prototype was determined by the results of tests . It is composed of clamping mechanism,cutting deviees,Pneumatic system,and sensor control system. In the proeess of end-effeetors design and mamifacture,the engineering drawing of the end-effeetors parts were made by Pro/e.On th ebase of ensuring the requirements of stiffness and strength,the non-standaul parts seleeted aluminum alloy and engineering plasties.
