Learn how to read and remember the words and phrases by using all kinds of ways. Let students learn to express the r

Teaching and learning steps:Step 1 Play a short video of Fight back to school (逃学威龙) T: Is he a good student?Ss: No.T: Do you want to be good students?Ss: Yes.T: What can we do and What cant we do?This class we will learn the words of rules.Show the word rule on the blackboard.rule ru:l n.规则,规
3、章(良好的开端是成功的一半。电影逃学威龙很符合学生的口味,用它来开头,能充分调动学生学习的兴趣,并引出本节课要学的有关rule的单词。)Step 2: Read the words of Unit4 on P123-124. 1. Students try to read the words using the phonetics by themselves. Mark the words they cant read correctly.2. Read the new words in your groups, correct your pronunciations each other.
4、The students can discuss the difficult words with the students in their group. 3. Get some individual students to read and correct their pronunciations. Correct the words that students always pronounce incorrectly, such as hair、 arrive、remember、important 、quiet、 more、 noisy、terrible 、strict .4. List
5、en to the tape and read after it for two times. Leave students enough time then have a competition. (Who can read more words correctly?) (设计意图:首先学生根据音标自读单词,并标出试读时有困难的单词,训练学生利用音标 读单词的能力,培养学生自主学习的能力。然后,以小组为单位培养学生合作学习的能力。先让学生之间彼此纠正发音,再找单个同学读单词,教师及时纠正发音。最后让学生跟着录音读。 通过这几个环节,重点培养学生的合作意识,使大部分学生都能达到预定目标。)St

11、the dishes 遵守规则2. go out 整理床铺3. listen to music 迟到4. on time 对要求严格5. make ones bed 洗盘子6. be strict with 准时 按时7. follow the rules 出去8. arrive late for 听音乐 (本部分采用小组之间小组间相互提问模式并连线模式。教师给予回答多且准确率高的小组奖励,以此来激励学生学习的积极性与主动性。)五. 13、环境中学习的目的。)Step 4: Consolidation of words 1. Give the students a few minutes to try to memorize the words first. 2. Students can work in pairs to spell the words. Mark the words they havent mastered.3. Get the students to write down the words on their guide books (助学). If they cant, go on remembering
14、 them after class. (设计意图:此环节为巩固单词。通过提问或使用助学默写的形式来对单词加以巩固。这一环节有一部分的学生往往不达标,需要利用自习课或课余的时间让小组长跟踪检查,尽量能让每一个学生都过关。)Step 5: Read the story and understand the meaning of new words:Get the students to read the story. Try to understand the meaning of the passage. If they need any help, they can discuss in th
15、eir groups.Some words from a teacher:In our school, students have to follow the rules: Dont arrive late for class. Be on time is very important. Dont run in the hallways . Dont eat in class. Students can eat in the dining hall . Dont fight. Dont listen to music in class. They can listen outside. On
16、school days, students have to wear the uniforms. And On school nights, students cant go out. When they read in the library, they must keep quiet . Dont be noisy. Some students feel terrible about them. They think theyre too strict. Im very sorry to hear that. Because theyre helpful for them.Whats mo
17、re, I hope they can learn to make bed ,do the dishes at home. Dont leave a dirty kitchen. Dont keep hair long. Practicing the guitar before go to bed can relax.
