2、ne English. In Part A, the Ss have learned five phrases and the sentences: What are you doing? I am doing the dishes. And know the sentences: What is Zhang Peng doing? He is reading a book. They have mastered a little telephone English: Hello! Hi! This is Zhang Peng. So in this lesson, they will go
3、on learning 5 new phrases and know a chant - Grandma is cooking. They will master the sentences in three-skills: What is your father doing? He is writing an e-mail. And use in real situation. The most important is to foster Ss abilities of listening, speaking and communication.二、Teaching aimsAccordi
4、ng to the teaching material and analysis of the students, I will arrange the teaching aims below:1. Ss can master the five new phrases by listening, speaking, reading and writing.2. Ss can underst and say the chant.3. Ss can ask and answer the questions according to Mikes family pictures: What is yo
5、ur father doing ? What is he or she doing?三、Teaching key point and difficult pointThe key point of this lesson is to help Ss master the five new phrases in four-skills.The difficult point is to help Ss know the new rules about verb-ing form-Remove the silent e and then plus ing. And help them read a
6、nd spell the new words: writing a letter / writing an e-mail.四、Teaching method and learning method.Teaching method: situation method and communication method.Learning method: autonomous learning and cooperative learningWith the help of CAI, I will provide some some pictures for Ss. It can attract Ss
7、 attention and arouse them to take an active part in the classroom activities. At the same time, it will help them understand easily and master well.五、Teaching processThrough the task-basted teaching approach, my teaching process will include 6 parts. In warming-up, let Ss play a game - Brain storm
8、and then talk about Zhang Pengs family. In this way, it can help Ss review some key words and sentences and prepare for the new lesson. It also can develop Ss abilities of imagination and thinking. After that, ask Ss to talk about Mikes family picture and learn to say the new phrases.In practice par
9、t, I will help Ss read and spell the new phrases by listening and reading. Meanwhile, encourage Ss to help each other and try to remember according to the pronunciation rules. After reading, I will check by two exercises- Read and match; and try to spell. When they finish well, I will give them 3 ta
10、sks. Task 1: Pair work- Help Mike answer the phone. Task 2: Enjoy the chant and answer the questions. Task 3: Group work- Imagine and say a short passage according to the chant.In summary part, encourage Ss to sum up how to change the verbs into its ing form. Then, let them finish homewok after clas
11、s:1. Listen to the tape on P49 and repeat. Then recite and spell.2. Copy and write them from memory.3.
