19、llins Avionics Standard ShopPractices Instruction Book.(1)Refer to the disassembly instructions in the Disassembly section of the referenced component maintenance manual (repair manual). Disassemble the unit as required to remove elevation axis and scan axis out of the X-band Subassembly Mount.(2)Re

20、fer to figure 1. Disassemble the elevation axis as necessary to remove and discard the two bearings that the axis rotates on.(3)Install two new bearings (CPN 309-1309-050) in place of the removed bearings.(4)Remove RTV adhesive (if applicable) from waveguide side shims.(5)Refer to the assembly instr

21、uctions in the Assembly section of the referenced component maintenance manual (repair manual). Assemble the elevation axis to be placed back in the X-band Subassembly Mount.NOTE: If shims become damaged from the removal of the bearings, replace them as required with the proper replacement shim. If the X-Band Subassembly does not have a SB Mod sticker, using the mod label (CPN 280-3778-050) cut out “MOD” and 10 squares below that and install approximate
