1、Grade8 Module 9 Animals in danger Unit 2 The government is working hard to save the panda.一、课型:Reading and writing二、教材分析:本模块以濒危动物为话题,向学生介绍一些濒危动物的现状,特别是大熊猫的现状及保护措施.这是一个既有意义,又能引起学生兴趣的话题,是对学生进行环保教育的良好素材.从语言角度来说,学生可以通过听、说、读、写的材料,学习谈论动物及动物保护的表达方式。本模块的语法内容主要是动词不定式作主语、定语、状语及不定式的否定形式
2、。在教学中,教师可以将重点放在内容上,而不是语法上。通过对濒危动物话题的探讨,培养学生正确使用动词不定式的能力。本单元是一篇阅读课,围绕着濒危动物大熊猫这一话题展开,因此学生会接触很多相关的词汇,复杂的句子。在阅读中学生没有必要对文中的每个词和句子都弄明白,只要明白每一段的大意即可,重点培养学生对文章主旨大意和段落大意的理解能力。同时理解动词不定式的概念及用法。学会恰当地运用动词不定式。能够模仿课文的写作形式,简单叙述濒危动物的情况。三、教学目标:1. 学会新单词- 研究-西南-主要的-以-为食 原因-越来越少-情况-标志-喂养-例如-提供-困难-干净的-污染-极讨厌的-自然保护区-惊奇的-稀

5、Write about animals in danger五、文化意识增强环境保护意识,提高保护动物、保护环境的自觉性。六、情感态度与价值观:增强学生的环保意识,提高保护动物、保护环境的自觉性,同时加强学生保护环境和环保宣传的责任感。引导学生与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务,尽情享受学习的乐趣。七、教学过程1.Warming up From Unit 1 we have known some animals in danger(tiger, lion, bear, whale ,snake, elephant, camel).,and the ma

(提出问题,四人小组合作,分享信息,全班汇报) 通过师生之间,生生之间的自由谈话引入本课的主题,激情引趣,同时做词汇上的铺垫, 训练学生对文章的预测能力,也导出本课的标题: The government is working hard to save the pandas.学生活动: Read the four headlines ,guess the order of the paragraphs before they read th
7、e text. Activity 2目的:激活背景知识,根据教材提供信息讨论, 培养学生推测的能力,对大熊猫的生存现状简单了解,为下面的阅读提供支持。 2、In put教师活动1.: Ask the ss to read the passage and get the main idea of this passage and say the reasons.教师活动2、Get the ss to read again underline the sentences with infinitive in the text by themselves , then discuss th

Exercises about infinitive目的:训练学生巩固并掌握动词不定式。bFinish Activity 6根据课文内容,学生模仿范文写一篇其它濒危动物的小短文。他们可以根据课前在网上所查的有关濒危动物的资料来写。也可根据老师提供的资料写。目的:培养学生运用所学的知识,展开合理的想象,培养思维能力。告诉学生在表达中注意动词不定式的正确使有。c.见达标题6、Summing-up (归纳总结、解疑)师生必要的讲解和解疑7、Homework : Writing a leaflet to call people to protect the animal

What can we do to save the animals?注意:动词不定式的正确使用。八、教学反思通过学生个人思考、小组交流,激发学生的保护动物意识。 通过学生观察-发现-讨论-归纳-巩固-运用的模式,掌握知识点的规律。通过自我体验,获取知识,通过练习巩固所学知识点。设计任务,换位思考问题,学生通过任务分享各自的智慧
