30、d. The former Beatles legend John Lennon is still a hit among young fans around the world.2. a straight-A student: a student who receives an A for every course he/she takes. Straight is an adjective used as attributive that means “in continuous succession”. Look up this word in the dictionary and le

31、arn more of its usages.A is often used to denote something or someone of a better or more prestigious quality or status. In schools, A is an academic mark indicating the highest standard of work. A+, A, A- are the best grades that can be assigned by teachers for students schoolwork.3. I hope you won

32、t mind me asking you a few question: This is a polite form of asking someone questions, especially about someones personal matters. The answer is usually “No, not at all.”, meaning “I dont mind.”.4. the Childrens Theatrical Troupe: 儿童剧团A troupe is an organization of performers and associated personn

The spotlight here refers to acting on the stage. When used in its singular form,
