The content of my lesson is PEP Primary English Book 8 Unit2 Whats the matter,Mike? Part B Lets talk(板书)First of all, Let me talk about

2、the teaching material.Teaching Material:This unit plays around “ seeing the dortor” and “describing the mood”. It is an important role in this book. It provides some new words/phrases and new sentences. This part is the _fifth period of this unit. It mainly ask and answer the moods and why she is ha

3、ppy or sad . The main sentences are“How are you Liu Yun ? You look so happy. How are you ,Sarah? You look sad today”. By learning it , the Ss should understand the dialoguge of Lets talk. They can also read it correctly. They can master the important sentences: “How are you Liu Yun ? You look so hap

4、py. How are you ,Sarah? You look sad today”. and use them to talk about the moods and the reasons in the real situation. In my opinion ,they are also the main aims of this lesson.Analysis about the Ss:Ss from Grade 6 ,they have learned English for 3 years.They have mastered listening, speaking, read

5、ing, and writing skills. Before this lesson, they have learned the words : tired , angry, excited, happy, sad, bored . So we can use them to lead in this lesson. Today, well go on to use these sentences to make the dialogue and communicate with others in the real situation. On the other hand, the Ss

6、 writing is very poor. It is hard to write the sentences“How are you Liu Yun ? You look so happy. How are you ,Sarah? You look sad today” from memofy correctly. It is also the difficult point of this lesson .Learning aims:So according to the content and the fact of the Ss. I design the following lea

7、rning aims of this period.1、With the help of the Flash cartoon ,the tape recorder and the pictures. The Ss can understand the meaning of the dialogue.They can read it correctly and act out the dialogue in pairs.( Its also the main aims of this lesson.)2.With the help of the pictures and the given se

8、ntences, The T gives a model . The Ss can ask and answer in the real situation and make a new dialogue with the important sentences in pairs (Its the learning difficulty.)3. In order to check the Ss, I also design some exercises. The T leads the Ss , then write down the sentences in the note book .T

9、he Ss can finish the exercises correctly. They can also write the and sentences: “How are you Liu Yun ? You look so happy. How are you ,Sarah? You look sad today” from their memory correctly.Learning Methods and tools:As we know, the main instructional aims of learning English in Primary School is t

10、o train the pupils basic abilities of listening, speaking, and their good sense of English language. So in this lesson, Ill mainly use “Task-based teaching method, Situational teaching method, pair work and Role playing method . So during the lesson, I should prepare the Flash cartoon, the word card

11、s, some test paper and the tape recorder to help me achieve the aims. Learning process: To reach the aims, I design the following steps: Step 1: Warming up and revisionFirst of all , I show the excises of the words : tired , angry, excited, happy, sad, bored. Ask some Ss to read the words and spell

12、them .Then explain the meanings with the faces or body languages . Then I have a free talk with the Ss.T: Im hppy. Because I have a new dress,now. How are you ? Lead the Ss answer: Im happy/ sad/ Then I go on asking:“ Can you tell me why?” Lead the Ss say the reasons of this mood. Step 2: Presentati

13、on and practice. First , I will sovle the difficult sentences: “Im going on a big trip. I failed the math test. Im sorry to hear that”. So I say:“ Liu Yun is excited, because she is going on a big trip. But Sarah is sad, because she failed the math test.” Then I show the phrase “ a big trip” , let t

14、he Ss read it and the sentences “ Im excited. Im going on a big trip.” after the T. Then I show a math test paper and say: “:Oh, Sarah failed the math test. Show the phrase:failed the math test,let the Ss read it and the sentences “I failed the math test” I failed the English test. I failed the Chin

15、ese test,Then I play the tape recorder of Lets talk. The Ss read after it.Then I ask: “Who looks happy? Why?” Lead the Ss answer: “Liu Yun looks happy. She is going on a big trip.” Then I go on asking: “Who looks sad? Why?” Lead the Ss answer:Sarah looks sad. She failed the math test.”Next let the S

16、s read after the tape again, Then practice the dialogue in pairs.The Ss read the dialogue together . Then act the dialogue in groups.Boys act like Sarah, girls act like Liu Yun.Ask some groups to come to the front to act the dialogue .Step 3: Consolidation and extension I show the three pictures of

17、Lets talk, lead the Ss describe their moods and the reasons . For example:The girl is sad, because her cat is ill. It cant play with her.The girl is happy, because her mother bought her a new dress.The boy is angry, because the dog took away his pencil.Then practice the dialogue in pairs with the mo

18、del :A: How are you, ? You look so happy?B: Yes, I am excited. My mother bought me a new dress.How are you, ? You look angry, now.A: My dog took away my pencil and I cant do my homework, now.Then I ask some groups to come to the front to act the dialogue.Listen and number.Then I show the pictures of Lets try. Ask the Ss: “ How do they feel?” Ask the Ss to answer the questions :She is sad. He is tired . Next I play the tape , let
