It is the first professional course. This course mainly introduces the

3、basic concept of industrial engineering and work study. Work study is the important part of the Fundament of Industrial Engineering. Work study consists of two components: the first part is method study, the second is work measurement. Method study is regarded as a systematic approach to finding eas

4、ier and better way to accomplish a task. Method study mainly includes process analysis, operation analysis and motion analysis. Work measurement mainly includes time study, work sampling and predetermined time systems The objective of any work measurement method is to determine the standard time. Th

5、is course provides students with a basis for later study.After this course, students should have an understanding of Fundament of Industrial Engineering.
