1、Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Section A课标分析本单元的中心话题是 “Talk about the unforgettable events .”依据义务教育英语课程标准的精神,本课在教材的使用,以及教学设计上,坚持外语教学的工具性和人文性的统一,以发展学生的综合语言运用能力为目标。面向全体学生, 同时,体现并兼顾学生的个体差异,联系学生的生活实际,注意激发学生的学习兴趣,促进 学生综合平衡发展。贴近并采录学生真实生活场景,进行讨论。注重具体语境的创设,实际循序渐进的语言 实践活动,让学生在“使用英语”的过程中获得语

2、言知识、发展语言运用能力。充分体现出语言学习的渐进性、实践性和应用性。本课是学习讨论学生日常生活状态的常用语言,实用 性和可操作性强。重视语言学习策略的培养,帮助学生提高英语学习效率,让学生通过小组合作与展示, 体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式感悟、发现并总结语言规律,有效学习语言知识,培养语言学习的策略和能力。适应时代发展的需要,充分利用电子书包、智慧教室,翻转课堂等新型的教学手段和小组合作等新兴的教学方法,充分激发学生的学习热情和兴趣,把语言学习的趣味性和教育性有机结合。Unit 5What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Section A

3、教材分析本单元的中心话题是 “Talk about the unforgettable events .”主要语言功能项目是过去进行时的特殊疑问句、一般疑问句、否定句以及与一般过去时的差异等。语法结构为“What were you doing ?,What was he/she doing when/while ?”以及它们的回答。并能运用这些语言项目对发生的事件做出报告.具体说来,本单元的教学目标有以下几个方面:知识目标:掌握过去进行时的结构与用法,并能够使用“At . When.以及 while.”进行适当的事件描述。能力目标:能够正确使用过去进行时谈论过去某一时刻正在发生的事并进行回答;

4、能够根据语境选择过去进行时及一般过去时。综上所述,本单元以过去进行时展开的各项活动为主线,通过看图片、看电视报道、介绍自己、家人和同学活动情况等形式,来操练、巩固过去进行时的各种句型。教材内容从 基本语言知识到语言综合运用,从易到难层层递进,听、说、读、写依次展开,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生在活动中有目的的学习语言。本单元的教学重点:掌握动词短语与生词Go off 、pick up 、 wait for、at the time of 等短语。alarm 、storm等名词。掌握过去进行时、现在分词的构成与用法。让学生在情境中准确的使用下列句型:What were you doi

5、ng ? I was .What was he /she doing ?He /she was .本单元的教学难点:过去进行时的构成与运用。句型中人称与数的一致。一般过去是和过去进行时的相应时间状语。一般过去时和过去进行时的区别。本单元计划课时数四节,除了学生提前进行的微视频自学以外,课堂授课环节包括Section A 和 Section B 两节新授课,一节语法课,一节练习课。本课时是本单元的 Section A,通过集中呈现大量真实活动场景的听力材料,预设展示了过去进行时的几种句型的基本结构以及初步运用。1a-1c 展示了日常活动的图片和动作短语,通过看电视新闻情景引出过去进行时态,并让学

6、生尝试模仿对过去某一时间点正在发生的事进行问答。2a-2d 将对话过渡到对过去活动进行汇报,让学生通过听说运用所学语言结构。Grammar Focus 中引入了一般过去时和过去进行时的区别,并通过3a 中的练习加以巩固。3b 和 3c 分别通过排序和游戏的方式继续训练所学句型。Unit 5What were you doing when the rainstorm came?Section A学情分析本单元的中心话题是 “Unforgettable events.”针对的是八年级下学期水平的学生。此阶段的学生,对于英语学习已经产生了两极分化的现象。少数学生课外涉猎较多,词汇量积 累和语法水平较

7、高;另有少数学生习惯和基础较差,随着课文难度的加深,甚至部分产生英 语厌学情绪;大多数学生词汇量和语法知识的积累限于目前教材水平,七年级学习过现在进 行时态内容,本单元的过去进行时态应该比较容易理解。但是时间状语对学生来说有难度。词汇量较少,灵活运用能力有待提高。本班学生英语学习热情相对较高,长期使用的小组合作模式效果明显。学生们的合作意识与能力,积极主动的参与表现与表达的意愿较为强烈,课堂活动的参与度较高。但是仍有部分学生的学习习惯差,预习和复习的自觉性较低,依赖性较强。自学效果差, 课堂参与需要外力激励。在小组合作模式下,每组中各个层次的学生都较均匀分布,相对有利于学生之间的互相帮助与督促

8、。翻转课堂这种新兴的教学方法在本班使用已经一学期有余,大部分学生能认真观看和学 习微视频,完成自学学案,课堂展示与巩固效果尚好,少部分学生自觉性差,微视频自学不够认真,课堂反应较差。使用智慧教室和电子书包系统 ,学生用 pad 采集讨论资料,收传作业,抽签选人,计分计时,互动展板等新的教学方法,令学生耳目一新,可以起到激发学生学习热情,提高课堂注意力,提高课堂效率的作用。Unit 5 What were doing when the rainstorm came?Section A教学反思Topic::Unforgettable events Functions:Talk about past

9、 events.Tell story.Grammar: Questions and statements with the past progressive tense.Conjunctions When & While .Teaching methods:课前利用微视频、电子书包等教学资源,创设情景,让学生根据自己的具体情况课前自主学习,采集信息,课上根据真实生活场景交流操练、落实巩固。大部分学生学习效果较好。利用小组合作等方法营造积极活泼的教学气氛,鼓励学生多方位地参与教学活动,在交流与合作中,培养学生实际运用英语的能力。学生参与度较高。充分利用电子书包、智慧教室等新兴的教学方法,采集交流

10、所需信息,上传下载学习内容,增加课堂趣味和容量,激发学生兴趣,提高课堂效率,预期效果基本实现。开展各种任务型活动,让学生在逐步完成任务的过程中,进行探究式学习,更好地掌握新知识。但是本课各项任务难度设置偏高,学困生发言不积极。Learning methods:让学生学会利用网络等学习资源,培养自主自觉地学习习惯。但是,仍有部分学生没有认真观看学习,敷衍了事,所以课堂反应不够积极。加强学生在听、说、读、写方面的训练,通过合作和探究性学习,培养学生积极主动地学习心态,进而达到在用中学、学中用的目的。本课最后一个报告环节应该当堂完成书面任务并且展示,效果会更好。小组合作中,个别小组准备不够充分,表现
