In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Hearing her voice, the l

Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs

、. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go. A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator.

Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal and, on his arms, were deep scrat

In the time before we are so powerless, the only left on just the eye springs, and we have no regrets of the oath, I hope day after day, year after year, when I re-turn to this page , people still.

I have seen one another chilling words: Some people say that once you start like the memories of those people will get old. I only admit mature, do not believe they have been growing old. My friends are growing up

For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told

、 him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study.

、His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young mans name embossed in gold. Angri

、ly, he raised his voice to his father and said, With all your money you give me a Bible? He then stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and a wonderful family, but realizing his father was very old, he thought perhaps he should go to see him. He had not seen him since that graduation da

He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.

When he arrived at his fathers house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his fathers important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he w

、as reading, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words. PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

Sometimes we dont realize the good fortune we have or we could have because we expect the packaging to be different. What may appear as bad fortune may in fact be the door that is just waiting to be opened.

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with a little water and held it before me, and said this:我曾有个朋友,我们的关系很亲密。

You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes Love. As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers around it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first

、cracks it finds. This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love They try to posses it, they demand, they expect and just like the water spilling out of your hand, Love will retrieve from you.

For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If you have people you love, allow them to be free beings. Give and dont expect. Advise, but dont order. Ask, but never demand. It might sound simple, but it is a

、 lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true Love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring.

There once was a master who went to India. In those times, we didnt have the communications or airplanes or many kinds of transportation that we do now. So the master went to India on foot. He had never been to India before; perhaps he came from Persia. And when he got there, he saw a lo

、t of fruit. In India they have plenty of fruit to sell, but much of it is expensive because they cant grow much due to the water situation. So he saw one basket, a big basket of some very red, long fruit. And it was the cheapest in the shop, not expensive at all.

So he went up and asked, How much per kilo? And the shopkeeper said, Two rupees. Two rupees in India is nothing; its like dirt. So he bought a whole kilogram of the

、 fruit and started eating it. But after he ate some of it: Oh, my God! His eyes watered, his mouth watered and burned, his eyes were burning, his head was burning and his face became red. As he coughed and choked and gasped for breath, he jumped up and down, saying, Ah! Ah! Ah!

啊!”But he still continued to eat the fruit! Some people who were looking at him shook their heads and said, Youre crazy, man. Those are chilies! You cant eat so many; theyre n

、ot good for you! People use them as a condiment, but only a little bit to put into food for taste. You cant just eat them by the handful like that; theyre not fruit! So the stupid master said, No, I cant stop! I paid money for them, and now Ill eat them. Its my money!

那位笨师父说:“不行,我已经花钱买了,就要把它吃完,这可都是钱哪!”And you think that master was stupid, right? Similarly, we sometimes do a lot of things like that. We invest money, time or effort in a relationship, business or job. And even though its been a

、 long time, bitter experience tells us it wont work, and we know theres no more hope that things will change in the future - this we definitely know by intuition - we still continue just because weve invested money, time, effort and love into it. If so, were kaput in the brain. Just like the man who

、 ate the chilies and suffered so much but couldnt stop because he didnt want to waste the money hed paid.

、So even if youve lost something, let it go and move on. Thats better than continuing to lose. 我们正在起跑点“We are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book whose pages are infinite”I do not know who wrote those words, but I have always liked them as a remin

、der that the future can be anything we want to make it. We can take the mysterious, hazy future and carve out of it anything that we can imagine, just like a sculptor carves a statue from a shapeless stone. We are all in the position of the farmer. If we plant a good seed, we reap a good harvest. If

、our seed is poor and full of weeds, we reap a useless crop. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.I want the future to be better than the past. I dont want it contaminated by the mistakes and errors with which history is filled. We should all be concerned about the future because tha

、t is where we will spend the reminder of our lives. The past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before us and dynamic. Everything we do will effect it. Each day will brings with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our businesses, if we will only recognize them. We a

、re just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

We all, at one time or another, have pretended to be a rock star, singing and dancing along to our favorite song. Most of us have done this in th

I turn on the radio, find a song that I can sing along too and pretty soon my arms are in the air and I am moving along to the rhythm. Most of the time, I do this on my way to

、work. Yes, that is true. I will be in my nice work clothes, jamming while driving or stopped at a traffic light. I get weird looks from some people and othe

、rs laugh. Personally, I love to get lost in the rhythm of a song which leads me to share with you the importance of being silly! The definition for the word silly, according to the dictionary is: stupid, foolish an
