15、mpensation.IssueIDIssueDescription20bEmployeesmustbepaidlegalminimumwage.WorkingHoursandOvertimeTargetrequiresthatallfactoriesutilizeafunctionaltime-keepingsysteminordertorecordaccurateworkinghours.The time-keeping system must accurately track all hours worked for regular employees, piece-rate emplo

16、yees, contract employees,migrantemployees,andtemporaryemployees.Manualattendancesheetsmusthaveexacttime-inandtime-out with employees acknowledgement. Electrical time keeping systems must have a battery back-up which starts immediatelyinthecaseofpowerlosstopreventlossofdata.IssueIDIssueDescription17d

17、Musthavetimekeepingsysteminthefactorytoaccuratelyrecordworkinghoursforallemployees.Targetrequiresthatifafactoryoffersovertimehourstoemployeesthattheyarealwaysvoluntary.Factoriesthatsubjectemployeestocoercion,financialpenalty(e.g.wagededuction,and/ordisciplinaryactionupandtotermination)inresponsetoem

18、ployeerefusaltoacceptovertimeviolatestheStandardsofVendorEngagement(SOVE).Additionally, factories must limit working hours exceeding 60 hours per week or the local law standard, whichever is lesser;regularlypaidhoursarenottoexceed48hoursperweekandovertimepaidhoursarenottoexceed12hoursperweekortheloc

19、allawstandard,whicheverislesser.IssueIDIssueDescription19cEmployeesmustbeallowedtodeclineovertimewithoutpenalty.19dEmployeesmustbegivenonedayoffafter13consecutivedaysofwork.19oTarget will not tolerate egregious and/or undisclosed violations of the Working Hours and Overtime standard. Target consider

20、s working hours of 80 or more hours per week egregious and such a finding will result in an auto-fail. Target will assess violations of working hours of between 60 and up to 80 hours per week on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration any relevant mitigating or aggravating factors. When miti

21、gating factors, such as transparency, are present and illustrate that the factory is both willing and capable of remediating the violation, Target may not characterize the violationascritical. Whenaggravatingfactorsarepresent,suchasnon-paymentoflegalovertimewages,andthefactoryisunwilling or incapabl

22、e of remediating the violation, Target will consider the violation critical and the finding will result in an auto-fail.NoUnderageLaborTargetrequiresthatallfactoriesemployemployeesthatare15yearsofageorolder.Targetconsiderslocallawstandardsexceeding 15 years of age to be the prevailing requirement (e

Factory As national government requires all employeestobe17yearsofageorolder)soTargetwillevaluatethefactoryscomplianceagainsttheirnationalstandard.EmploymentofemployeesunderthisagerequirementisaviolationofourStandardsofVendorEngagement(SOVE).IssueIDIssueDescription22bMustmaintaincopiesoflegalage

24、verificationdocumentsforallemployees.NoHarassmentTargetrequiresthatallfacilitieswillfosteranenvironmentfreefromintimidation,hostility,and/oroffensivelanguage/gestures/innuendo.IssueIDIssueDescription27bEmployeesshallneverbeverballymistreated.EnvironmentalManagementandMonitoringSystemsTargetrequiresf
