3、朋友、家人现在和过去的外貌、性格、爱好等。活动二:听力练习1.听录音,完成课本1b的听力填空题,小组内核对答案。2.再听录音,跟读课文,注意used to的用法。3.听录音,完成课本2a的练习,选出你所听到的单词。4.再听录音,完成课本2b的练习。活动三:课堂表演1.对话表演之前,通过“观察发现总结”的自主学习方式,试着说出used to的用法。2.在小组里结对进行对话练习,描述自己、朋友及家人过去和现在的外貌及性格特征。3.两人一组完成课本2d的对话表演。知识超市 I used to be afraid of the dark. 我过去怕黑。此句中 used to表示“过去经常;以前常常”,

4、 指过去的习惯性动作或状态, 现在已不再存在,其中to是动词不定式符号, 后接动词原形。一般疑问句:Used sb. to.?或Did sb. use to.?否定句: used to的否定形式为didnt use to或usednt to,口语中常用usednt to。be used to sth./doing sth.习惯于做某事例如:Hes quite used to hard work.(working hard) 他颇习惯于艰苦工作。be used to do sth.被用来做例如: Wood is used to make paper. 木材被用来造纸. This party is

12、组选出优秀的句子在展台上展示。知识超市Candy told me that she used to be really shy and took up singing to deal with her shyness.凯迪告诉我她过去确实很害羞并且用唱歌来处理她的害羞。 deal with是动词短语,意为“对付;应付;处理”。deal with 作“应付;处置”讲时,同义词组为do with,但do with 常与连接代词what连用,而deal with 常与连接副词how连用。例如:How do you deal with your math problem? = What do you

13、do with your math problem? 你如何处理你的数学问题的? He is easy to deal with. = He is easy to do with. 他是容易相处的人。 do with还有“与有关”之意。例如:I have nothing to do with you. 我与你毫无关系。As she got better, she dared to sing in front of her class. 当她(情况)好一些时,她敢于在她同学面前唱歌。用作实意动词时, 意为“敢于”,含有“大胆、鲁莽、爱冒险”的意味,后面通常接动词不定式,有时可省略不定式符号to(

14、尤其是在否定句或疑问句中)。一般不用于进行时态。可用于非谓语形式,完成时态等。例如:I wonder how he dares (to) say such things. 我纳闷他怎么敢说出这样的话来。用作情态动词, 意思是“敢”,其后接动词原形,一般用于疑问句、否定句或条件句, 或与hardly, never, no one, nobody等连用。有时态变化,但没有人称形式的变化。例如:She doesnt know whether she dare go out at night now. 她不知道是否现在敢在晚上出去。 注意:I dare say 是习惯说法(用于肯定句),并不一定要译为
