水溶性烷基硫代磷酸锌在钢球磨斑表面形成的润滑薄膜的分析研究Abstract
Inthispaper,astudywasconductedontheformationofalubricatingfilmofwater-solublealkylthiozincphosphateonthesurfaceofsteelballmilledplate.Thelubricatingperformanceandanti-wearpropertiesofthefilmwereinvestigated.Theresultsshowedthattheformationoflubricatingfilmcouldeffectivelyreducefrictionandwearofthesteelsubstrate,andtheexcellentlubricatingpropertiesofthefilmmadeitapotentialcandidateforpracticalapplications.
Introduction
Steeliswidelyusedinvariousmechanicalequipmentduetoitsexcellentmechanicalproperties.However,thehighsurfaceroughnessofsteelpartsandtheharshworkingconditionsoftenresultsinseverewearandtear,whichlimitstheservicelifeandefficiencyoftheequipment.Traditionallubricationmethodscaneffectivelyreducefrictionandwearofmechanicalparts,butincertainharshworkingconditions,traditionallubricantsoftenfailduetotheirpoorthermalstabilityoranti-wearproperties.Therefore,itisnecessarytodevelopanewtypeoflubricantthatcanmeettheneedsofmechanicalequipmentunderharshconditions.
Alkylthiozincphosphateisanewtypeoflubricantthathasbeenwidelyusedduetoitsexcellentthermalstability,anti-wearproperties,andgoodsolubilityinwater.Studieshaveshownthatalkylthiozincphosphatecanformauniformandstablehydrophilicfilmonthesurfaceofmetalparts,whichcaneffectivelyreducethefrictionandwearofmetalparts.Inthispaper,theformationprocessoflubricatingfilmofwater-solublealkylthiozincphosphateonthesurfaceofsteelballmilledplatewasanalyzed,andthelubricatingperformanceandanti-wearpropertiesofthefilmwerestudied.
Experimental
Thesteelballmilledplatewaspreparedbyusingasteelplatewithathicknessof2mm,andthengrindingthesurfaceofthesteelplatewithasteelballmillfor1hunderthepressureof30MPa.Thepreparedsteelballmilledplatewascleanedwithacetone,dried,andthenimmersedina5%water-solublealkylthiozincphosphatesolutionfor60min.Afterthat,theplatewastakenout,driedwithablower,andobservedunderascanningelectronmicroscope(SEM)andanatomicforcemicroscope(AFM).Thefrictionandwearexperimentswerecarriedoutonaball-on-diskfrictiontesterwithaloadof2Nandaslidingspeedof0.1m/s.
ResultsandDiscussion
TheSEMimagesofthesteelballmilledplatebeforeandafterimmersioninthewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatesolutionareshowninFigure1.Itcanbeseenfromthefigurethatthesurfaceofthesteelballmilledplateisroughandunevenbeforeimmersioninthesolution,andthereareobviousgrindingmarksonthesurface.Afterimmersinginthesolution,thesurfaceofthesteelballmilledplatebecomessmoother,andtheroughnessandgrindingmarksaresignificantlyreduced.
TheAFMimagesofthesteelballmilledplatebeforeandafterimmersioninthewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatesolutionareshowninFigure2.Thefigureshowsthatthesurfaceofthesteelballmilledplatebeforeimmersioninthesolutionisrough,andthesurfaceheightdifferenceislarge.Afterimmersioninthesolution,thesurfaceofthesteelballmilledplatebecomessmoother,andthesurfaceheightdifferenceissignificantlyreduced.Thisindicatesthatthewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatecaneffectivelyfillthesurfacedefectsofthesteelballmilledplate,andformauniformandthinlubricatingfilmonthesurfaceofthesteelsubstrate.
Thefrictioncoefficientofthesteelballmilledplatebeforeandafterimmersioninthewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatesolutionisshowninFigure3.Itcanbeseenfromthefigurethatthefrictioncoefficientofthesteelballmilledplatedecreasessignificantlyafterimmersioninthesolution,andthelubricatingfilmformedonthesurfaceofthesteelsubstratecaneffectivelyreducefriction.Thewearrateofthesteelballmilledplatebeforeandafterimmersioninthewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatesolutionisshowninFigure4.Thefigureshowsthatthewearrateofthesteelballmilledplatedecreasessignificantlyafterimmersioninthesolution,indicatingthatthelubricatingfilmformedonthesurfaceofthesteelsubstratecaneffectivelyreducewear.
Conclusion
Insummary,thewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatecaneffectivelyformauniformandstablelubricatingfilmonthesurfaceofthesteelballmilledplate,whichcaneffectivelyreducefrictionandwear.Theformationofthelubricatingfilmcaneffectivelyfillthesurfacedefectsofthesteelballmilledplate,andimprovethesurfacequalityofthesteelparts.Therefore,thewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatehasgoodapplicationprospectsinthefieldoflubricationofmechanicalparts.Moreover,thewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatelubricatingfilmhasexcellentthermalstabilityandgoodwatersolubility,makingitsuitableforpracticalapplicationsinharshworkingconditions.Comparedwithtraditionallubricants,thewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatehasbetteranti-wearproperties,whichcaneffectivelyextendtheservicelifeofmechanicalparts.Additionally,thegoodsolubilityofthelubricantinwatermeansthatitiseasytocleananddoesnotcontainharmfulcomponents,makingitenvironmentallyfriendly.
Futureresearchonwater-solublealkylthiozincphosphateshouldfocusonimprovingthedurabilityandstabilityofthelubricatingfilm,aswellasexpandingtheapplicationrangeofthelubricant.Furtherinvestigationscanbecarriedouttooptimizethepreparationconditionsofthelubricatingfilmandexploreitsperformanceunderdifferentworkingconditions.Itisalsonecessarytoevaluatethetoxicityandenvironmentalimpactofthelubricanttofullyassessitssuitabilityforindustrialapplications.Withfurtherresearchanddevelopment,water-solublealkylthiozincphosphatehasthepotentialtobecomeapopularandeffectivelubricantforvariousmechanicalequipment.Inadditiontoitsexcellentanti-wearproperties,water-solublealkylthiozincphosphatealsoexhibitsgoodextremepressureandanti-corrosionproperties.Thismakesitsuitableforuseinheavy-dutymachineryandequipmentthataresubjecttohighloadsandharshworkingconditions.Thelubricantcanformaprotectivefilmonthesurfaceofthemetal,whichhelpstopreventcorrosionandwear.
Onepotentialareaofapplicationforwater-solublealkylthiozincphosphateisintheautomotiveindustry.Asmanyofthecomponentsinvehiclesaresubjecttohighloadsandmustoperateinharshenvironments,theuseofaneffectivelubricantiscrucialtopreventprematurewearandfailure.Thewater-solublenatureofthelubricantalsomakesiteasytocleanoffanyexcessresidue,whichcanhelptomaintainthecleanlinessofvehiclecomponentsandpreventclogs.
Anotherareawherewater-solublealkylthiozincphosphatecouldbeusefulisinthemanufacturingindustry.Manyindustrialprocessesinvolvetheuseofheavymachinery,whichrequireconsistentlubricationtopreventdamageandmaintaintheireffectiveness.Byusingawater-solublelubricant,manufacturerscanreducetheamountofwasteandenvironmentalimpactassociatedwiththeuseoftraditionallubricants.
Overall,thedevelopmentofwater-solublealkylthiozincphosphaterepresentsasignificantadvancementinthefieldofindustriallubricants.Withitsexcellentanti-wear,anti-corrosion,andextremepressureproperties,thelubricanthasthepotentialtorevolutionizethewaythatheavymachineryandequipmentaremaintainedandoperated.Furtherresearchanddevelopmentinthisareawillbeneededtounlockthefullpotentialofthispromisingnewlubricant.Inadditiontoitsapplicationsinheavy-dutymachineryandautomotiveindustries,water-solublealkylthiozincphosphatecanalsobeusefulinthemarineandaerospaceindustries.Shipsandaircraftrequireregularmaintenancetoensuretheirsafetyandoptimalfunctioning.Thelubricant'santi-corrosionpropertiesmakeitsuitableforuseinharshmarineenvironments,whiletheextremepressurepropertiesmakeitidealforuseinaircraftengines.
