Withtherapiddevelopmentofwirelesstechnologies,theconceptoftheFifthGeneration(5G)wirelesscommunicationsystemstartedtoemerge.Butmostpeopleknowlittleabout5G,includingsomeaspectsof5Gwirelesscommunicationnetworks,justlikewhat5Gisabout:whatarethebuildingblocksofcore5Gsystemconcept,whatarethemainchallengesandhowtotacklethem.Besides,Anumberofcountriesandorganizationsworkingon5G,5GdevelopmentsituationinChinaisofconcerntoeveryone,Chinaalsoneedstohaveitsownplaceinsuchacompetitiveenvironment.

1.Introduction
5G(Fifth-generationmobilecommunications)isanewgenerationofmobilecommunicationmobilecommunicationsystemsfor2023,withhighspectralefficiencyandlowpowerconsumption,intermsoftransferrateandresourceutilizationimprovementover4Gsystem10times,itswirelesscoverageperformanceanduserexperiencewillbesignificantlyimproved.5Gwillbecloselyintegratedwithotherwirelessmobilecommunicationtechnology,constituteanewgenerationofubiquitousmobileinformationnetwork,tomeetfuturemobileInternettraffic1000xdevelopmentneedsin10years.[1]
InthispaperIwillshowyousomelatestresearchanddevelopmenthistory,whatarethebuildingblocksofcore5Gsystemconcept,whatarethemainchallengesandhowtotacklethemfirstly.IntherestofpaperIwillshowhow5GdevelopmentinChinainrecentyearsandmyconclusionafterresearchliterature.
2.Researchanddevelopmenthistory
February2023,theEUannouncedthatitwouldgrant50millioneurostoacceleratethedevelopmentof5Gmobiletechnology,planstolaunchamaturestandardin2023.[2][3]
May13,2023,SouthKorea'sSamsungElectronicsCo.,Ltd.announcedthatithassuccessfullydevelopedthe5thgenerationmobilecommunication(5G)coretechnology,whichisexpectedtobeginin2023tocommercialization.Thetechnologycantransmitdataatultra-highfrequency28GHzto1Gbpspersecondspeed,andthemaximumtransmissiondistanceofupto2km.Incontrast,thecurrentfourthgenerationLongTermEvolution(4GLTE)andservicesofonlythetransmissionrate75Mbps.Priortothetransmissionbottleneckiswidelybelievedthatatechnicalproblem,whileSamsungElectronicsistheuseof64adaptivearrayantennaelementstransmissiontechnologytocrackthisproblem.Comparedwiththetransmissionspeedof4GtechnologyinSouthKorea,5Gtechnologyishundredsoftimesfaster.Usingthistechnique,downloadahigh-definition(HD)moviejustneed10seconds.
Backin2023,Huaweihaslaunchedtheearlyresearchrelatedtechnologies,andtoshowtheprototypeofthe5Gbaseinlateryears.InNovember6,2023,Huaweiannouncedthatitwouldinvest$600millionin2023forthe5Gtechnologydevelopmentandinnovation,andpredictedthatuserswillenjoy20Gbpscommercial5Gmobilenetworksin2023.
May8,2023,theJapanesetelecomoperatorNTTDoCoMoannouncedofficially,Ericsson,Nokia,Samsungandothersixmanufacturerstoworktogether,begantestingoverride1000timesthanexisting4Gnetworksthecarryingcapacityofthehigh-speednetwork5Gnetwork,thetransmissionspeedisexpectedto10Gbps.Outdoortestingscheduledtocommencein2023,andexpectstobeginoperationsin2023.[3]

March3,2023,theEuropeanEconomicandSocialCommissionforDigitalFurusawaOttingeofficiallyannouncedtheEU'svisionofpublic-privatepartnerships5G,andstrivetoensurethattherighttospeakinthenextgenerationofmobiletechnologyinEuropeintheglobalstandard.Ottingersaidthat,5Gvisionofpublic-privatepartnershipinvolvesnotonlyfiber,wirelessorsatellitecommunicationsnetworkintegratedwitheachother,willalsousethesoftware-definednetworking(SDN),networkfunctionsvirtualization(NFV),MobileEdgecomputing(MEC)andFogComputingtechnology.Inthespectrum,theEU'svisionofpublic-privatepartnershipwillbedesignated5Ghundredsofmegahertztoimprovenetworkperformance,60GHzandhigherfrequencybandswillalsobetakenintoaccount.

Whatis5G?Ibelievemanypeoplewillbesoquestionablewhensee5G.Judgingfromthewordmeaning,5Greferstothefifthgenerationofmobilecommunications.However,howshoulditdefine?Currently,theglobalindustryfor5Gconceptnotyetagreed.ChinaIMT-2023(5G)groupreleasedtheWhitePaperconsiderstheconcept5G,5Gintegratedkeycapabilitiesandcoretechnology,5Gconceptby\keytechnologies%userexperience\isasetofkeytechnologies,includinglarge-scaleantennaarray,ultra-densenetworking,newmulti-site,full-spectrumaccessandnewnetworkarchitectures.
Recallingthecourseofdevelopmentofmobilecommunications,eachgenerationof

mobilecommunicationsystemscanbedefinedbysexualperformanceindicatorsandsignsofkeytechnologies.Wherein,1GusingFDMA,onlyanalogvoiceservices;2GmainlyusingTDMA,canprovidevoiceandlow-speeddigitaldataservices;3GtoCDMAtechnologyischaracterizedbyuserpeakrateof2MbpstoreachtensofMbps,supportmultimediadataservices;4GOFDMAtechnologyasthecore,theuserpeakrateofupto100Mbps~1Gbps,cansupportavarietyofmobilebroadbanddataservices.
5Gkeycompetenciesricherthanpreviousgenerationsofmobilecommunications,userexperience,speed,densityofconnections,endtoenddelay,thepeakrateandmobilityandsowillbethe5Gkeyperformanceindicators.However,unlikethecaseinthepastonlytoemphasizedifferentpeakrate,theindustrygenerallybelievethattherateoftheuserexperienceisthemostimportantperformanceindicators,ittrulyreflectstherealdatarateavailabletotheuser,andtheuserexperienceistheclosestperformance.Basedonthetechnologyneedsofthemainscene5G,5GuserexperiencerateshouldreachGbpsmagnitude.
