Lightingorilluminationisthedeliberateuseoflighttoachieveapracticaloraestheticeffect.Lightingincludestheuseofbothartificiallightsourceslikelampsandlightfixtures,aswellasnaturalilluminationbycapturingdaylight.Daylighting(usingwindows,skylights,orlightshelves)issometimesusedasthemainsourceoflightduringdaytimeinbuildings.Thiscansaveenergyinceofusingartificiallighting,whichrepresentsamajorcomponentofenergyconsumptioninbuildings.Properlightingcanenhancetaskperformance,improvetheappearanceofanarea,orhavepositivepsychologicaleffectsonoccupants.Indoorlightingisusually
