Itisallverywelltoblametrafficjams,thecostofpetrolandthequickpaceofmodernlife,but
mannersontheroadsarebecominghorrible.Everybodyknowsthatthenicestmenbecome
monstersbehindthewheel.Itisverywell,again,tohaveatigerinthetank,buttohaveonein
thedriver'sseatisanothermatteraltogether.Youmighttoleratetheoddroad-hog,therudeand
inconsideratedriver,butnowadaysthewell-manneredmotorististheexceptiontotherule.
Perhapsthesituationcallsfora'BeKindtoOtherDrivers,campaign,otherwiseitmayget

Roadpolitenessisnotonlygoodmanners,butgoodsensetoo.Ittakesthemostcool-headedand
good-temperedofdriverstoresistthetemptationtorevengewhensubjectedtouncivilized

unitshouldhaveaseparateresidenceischaracteristic.Noonewantstointrudeorbeintruded
upon.Bothparentsandchildfeelthattheother'spresencewouldupsetandchangethenormal
routine.
Oneofthereasonsforpresentsituationisthattherearedifferentlikesanddislikesbetween
parentsandchild.Forexample,thechildlikesglitteringdisco,rock-and-rollmusicorloves
moviesforhisentertainmentatnightwhiletheparentslikepeacefulenvironmentandphysical
exercises.Theywouldliketospendtheireveningsoflifeinhappiness.
Secondly,thereoftenexistsmisunderstandingbetweenparentandchild.Thechilddoesn'tknow
whathisparentthinksandacts,whiletheparentdoesn'tunderstandwhathischildrenwanttodo.
Ingeneral,youngpeopleenjoyagreatdealoffreedom,whiletheirparentsalwayskeeptheir
traditionalstyleoflife.
Thirdly,childrenoftendonotfeelanequalshareofresponsibilitytowardtheirparents.For
example,abrothersometimesfeelsthathissistersareresponsibleforphysicalcareoftheir
parents.Onechildmayresentanother'sreluctancetohelp,provokingmisunderstandingand
