Youneedn'tbesorudeaboutit.

你说话没必要这样不客气。need作情态动词时，表示需要，一般用于否定句或疑问句。上句中的need即作情态动词用于否定句。need也可以用于疑问句，如：NeedIdoitatonce?No,youneedn't.我需要立刻做它吗？不，你不必。need作实义动词时的用法如下：a.needtodosth.需要做某事。如：Heneededtodrinksomewater.他需要喝些水.b.needdoingsth.需要被做某事。如：Theflowersneedwateringeveryday.花需要被每天浇水。c.need后直接加名词，如：Ineedsomechangetotakethebus.我需要些零钱乘公共汽车。3.

我们不应该买我们不需要的东西，我突然发表意见说。这是一个定语从句，wedon'tneed是用来修饰前面的先行词things。什么样的东西呢？我们不需要的东西。本句中的need是一个实义动词，表示需要。remarked在此相当于said表示说，不过remark表示比较正式的说。remark可以用作动词表示说，也可以用作名词表示说的话、言论等。如：Theprofessorremarked:Thisisabeautifulfairytale.这位教授说：这是个美丽的童话故事。Hisremarkswereattackedinthenewspaper.他的言论在报纸上受到了抨击。5.
