一、对比考题何其多

对比类型考题在历年托福独立写作考题中，会占到相当大的比重，此类例题比比皆是。例如，从2022年1月份第一场托福考试起到最近的4月12日的9场考试10道考题〔3月7日的考试有两道考题〕中就有5道考题就是对比型考题〔2022.1.25，2022.2.1，2022.3.7(1)，2022.3.7(2)，2022.3.28〕大家先来简约回顾几个托福真题：

二、对比类考题的分类

按比较对象分类可以分为以下三类：

1〕AorB

这类对比在题目中会有特别明显对两个对比对象，在选择观点时，只选其一〔骑墙式写法在托福写作中不受欢迎〕。

例如：Classmatesandpartnercancommunicatewitheachotherfacetofacetofinishtheprojectbetterthanbysendinge-mail.(2022.1.25)

在选择观点时要么选择facetofacecommunication要么选择sende-mail.

2〕Aor(B)

这类考题比较含蓄，比较对象往往在考题中只涌现一个，而另一个那么可以由推断得出。例如：Peoplewillspendlesstimeoncookingfoodintwentyyears.〔2022.3.7〕

这道考题表面上是在问“在将来20年人们是否会更少花时间在做饭上”，实在是在将将来20年与现在进行对比，而它们之间的差异就是人们做饭时间差异的'缘由。

其它隐性对比考题还有：Theprofessionalathletessuchasthefootballplayerandbasket-ballplayerdeservedhighsalariestobepaid?〔2022.7.10〕

这道考题表面上是在问职业运动员的高薪酬是否合理，实质上是将职业运动员的career与其它一般的career进行对比，职业运动员之所以能有高薪酬，缘由在于他们的career有异于其它career的地方，如他们的职业生涯比较短，特别简单受伤，需要承受常常竞赛带来的巨大压力，需要参与严酷的训练等等。

3〕AorBorC

这类考题中比较对象有三者，选择观点时选其一。此类考题不常见，但从2022年开始几乎每年都会考到几次。

例如：Duringtimeofeconomycrisis,governmentshouldreducebudgetsin:(1)education,(2)healthcare;(3)supportforunemployed.(2022.2.2)

Whichwaydoyouthinkisthebestforastudenttomakenewfriends:(1)joiningasportsteam;(2)participateincommunityactivities;(3)traveling(2022.3.15)此类题目在对比时可以三者一一对比，如A与B对比，A与C对比，也可以转换成两者对比，如A与BC对比。

三、对比类型考题解题常犯错误：

小伙伴们在写对比类型题目时常常会犯这样一个错误：忽视对比。

例如：让在A跟B之间做选择，假设选择了A,错误的写法是只写A的好处，而决口不提B,也就是在写作过程中忽视了对比，这样的论证其实是不完整的。完整但论证应当是继写A的好处，同时要提B没有这方面的好处或提B的坏处。下面给一篇对比类型文章的〔范文〕：Inordertocelebrateimportanteventssuchasgraduationoraspecialbirthday,someofthempreferalargeparty,whileotherspreferasmallpartythatonlyclosefriendsandrelativesareinvited.
