TherearesealingdevicesforthelinersandpanelsinthecargocompartmentsfortheClassCfireprotection.Insomelocations,accesstosystemsbehindthelinersisbyremovalofsnapconnectionsthatholdthelinerstotheairplanestructure.Inotherlocations,accessisbyremovalofscrewsthatholdanaccesspanelinplace.Therearedecompressionpanelsthatopenwhenthepressuredifferencebetweenthecargocompartmentandthepassengercompartmentistoolarge.Thebarriernetsanddividernetsintheaftandbulkcargocompartmentskeepthecargoinplace.Thereisadoornettokeepthecargocompartmentdoorfromblockagebycargoitems.

Thebrakingcastersareonlyintheballpanelarea.TheyarenecessarybecausetheliftPDUsareinthatareaanddonothaveabrakesystem.WhentheliftPDUstopsitsmovementofaULD,thePDUgoesdownandcannotstoptheULD.ThebrakingcasterstopstheremainingmovementoftheULD.Thereisnoexternalcontrolofthebrakingcaster.
