WatchavideoDuFu(712-770)isknownasoneofthegreatestChinesepoets.Hehasbeencalledthe“Poet-Historian”andthe“PoetSage”byChinesecritics.withhismostfamouspoemsreflectingontheeffectsofwaronthepeople.
