redundant,sinceassessmentmeanstest.)

TheSATImeasuresverbalandmathreasoningabilitiesthatyou'vedeveloped

throughoutyourschoolyears.Themultiple-choicetest,developedbythenot-

for-profitEducationalTestingService,isintendedtoletstudentsdemonstrate

theirverbalandmathabilitieswithoutregardtothekindofschoolingthey've

had.AccordingtotheCollegeBoard,thetestlooksforastudent'sabilityto

understandandanalyzewrittenmaterial,todrawinferences,todifferentiate

shadesofmeaning,todrawconclusionsandsolvemathproblems-allskills

aboutReducingStudents'HeavyBurdenNowadays,students'heavyburden

makesthemsonervousthatitdoesharmtotheirhealth.Itisnotdifficultto

findouttoomanyproblemsappearinginoursociety;somestudentsgiveup

studying,evenkillthemselves.Someotherstudentsgotokilltheirparentsor

theirteachersbecausetheycan'tbearanymore.Thefactorsthatleadto

students'heavyburdenarethefollowingthree:firstly,itisbecauseof

educationalsystem.Suchsystemforcesstudentstolearntoomuchcomplex

butuselessinformation.Secondly,schoolsonlyquestforhigherrateof

enteringschools.Inordertogethigherrate,schoolstrytheirbesttodomore

trainingsothatstudentscan'thavetheirsparetime.Thirdly,parentshavegood

wishes.Parentsdonotwanttheirchildrentofailinthefuturecompetition.

Theyhavenootherwaybuttosendtheirchildrentoattendmoretraining.It

becomesurgenttoreducestudents'heavyburdennow.Inmyownopinion,it

isimportanttochangetheeducationalsystemintohighqualityeducation

system,toreducethecontentofthetraining,tochangethewayofevaluating

educationquality,tochangeparentsandsociety'sattitudetowardstalents.All

thesearethebasicwaysthathelpreducestudents'heavyburden.
