《大学英语》课程标准

（一）课程性质与任务

《大学英语》课程是必修的公共基础课之一，是帮助学生拓宽知

识、了解世界的素质教育课程，因此该课程兼有工具性和人文性双重

性质。就工具性而言，大学英语课承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发

展学生思维能力的任务，即学生通过本课程的学习掌握基本的英语语

言知识，发展基本的英语听说读写译的技能，初步形成用英语与他人

沟通的能力，进一步促进思维能力的发展，为今后继续学习英语和用

英语学习其他学科知识奠定坚实的基础；就人文性质而言，大学英语

课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务，即学生通过该课程的学习

能够开拓视野，丰富生活经历，形成跨文化意识，增强爱国主义精神，

发展创新能力，形成良好的品格和正确的人生观与价值观。大学英语

课的双重性质有利于为学生的终身发展奠定基础。

《大学英语》课程是学生高中英语课程的延续，是后续行业英语

或专业英语课程的基础和工具，在各专业人才培养体系中，起着承上

启下的重要作用，是我院实施人文素质教育的重要组成部分。

（二）课程教学目标

1、知识目标

听：（1）理解所听材料的主旨或要点；（2）理解具体信息；（3）

理解所听材料的背景、说话人之间的关系等；（4）推断所听材料的含

义。

说：（1）模拟或套用常用口头交际句型；（2）交流有困难时能采

取简单的应变措施。

读：（1）理解文章的主旨或要点；（2）理解文章中的具体信息;

（3）根据上下文推断生词意思；（4）根据上下文作出简单的判断和

推理；（5）理解文章的写作意图、作者的见解和态度等；（6）就文章

内容作出结论；（7）快速查找有关信息。

写：（1）正确使用所学的词、词组和句型；（2）语法及标点使用

正确，句子结构完整；（3）句子意思清楚，符合逻辑顺序；（4）注意

连贯性，正确使用连接手段。

译：（1）正确翻译一般语句，基本符合汉语习惯；（2）正确掌握

被动句式的译法；（3）正确掌握倍数的译法；（4）正确掌握定语从句

的译法；（5）正确掌握长句的译法。

2、能力目标

在教学过程中，注重因材施教。因此本课程的能力目标分为一般

能力目标和较高能力目标两种：达到四级为基本能力目标；达到六级

为较高能力目标。两个层次的能力目标见表2-3。
