chickencellsweredried,frozenforaperiodoftime,andthencarefullyunfrozen.

Almostallthecellsrecoveredwhentheyreachednormaltemperature.Sincethen,the

coolingofwholeanimalstoatemperatureverymuchbelowfreezingpointforlater
