occurswhenobjectsinlowEarthorbit(LEO)becomesocrowdedthattheybegintohiteachother,creatingmore
debrisandmorecollisions(碰撞),thusresultinginchainreactionsofmergersandfissions.Manyexpertswarnthat
LEOismovingtowardsKessler'ssyndrome.
Accidentalcollisionsinspacealsoincreasetheorbitaloverload,suchasthe2009collisionbetweentwo
satellites,Kosmos2251andIridium33.Sucheventshaveworsenedtheorbitaldebrisproblemandraisedthe
prospectofdisastrousspaceconditions.
