control.

PlacesofFamilyAmusementarenotnewintheworld,andtherehascertainly

grownasciencetothemnotunlikethatofkeepingatravellingcircusintact,or

maintainingnationalparks.Butmorethanthosewhocamebeforethem,Disneyand

hiscreativeteamfocusedonthepresentationofDisneyland,ensuringthatitwouldbe

ascontrolledandpredictableafictionastheirmovies,recordsandtelevisionshows

hadbeenuptothatpoint.

WalkingintoDisneylandislikeanenteringthesweepingshotofafantasymovie,

withatownsquarereachingforwardtoabreathtakingcastle.Everyaspectofthepark

wassaidtobeplannedaheadwiththeenergyofoneoftheDisneyanimatedfeatures,

thatDisneymadebeforehisdeathregardingEPCOTandotherprojectswerethe

sourceofthisrumor.
