本单元语法延续了必修二第六单元的内容,进一步展现过去分词的功能,在前面单元里,主要讲解过去分词作宾语补足语,到了本单元,我们将会明白过去分词的另一重要功能:做状语
过去分词

过去分词作状语应具备的条件※过去分词的逻辑主语与和主句主语应保持一致※过去分词一般表被动或完成※
例句解析1.Askedherfutureplan,thegirlsaidthatshewantedtobeateacher.句中asked的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的thegirl.即两者主语一致,且“asked”这个动作对thegirl来说是被动的.2.Frightenedbythetiger,theboydidn'tdaretosleepalone.句中frightened的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的theboy.即两者主语一致,且“frightened”这个动作对于theboy来说是被动的3.Growninrichsoil,theseseedscangrowfast.句中grown的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的theseplants.即两者主语一致,且“grown”这个动作对于theseplants来说是被动的.◆过去分词作状语分类●时间状语

(时间)=Whenthetownisseenfromthehill,itlooksmorebeautiful.3.Theoldmanwalkedintotheroom,supportedbyhisson.(方式)=Theoldmanwalkedintotheroomandwassupportedbyhisson.4.Theboyenteredtheclassroom,followedbyadog.(伴随)=Theboyenteredtheclassroomandwasfollowedbyadog.贴心提示:过去分词作伴随或方式状语时可以变成and连接的并列谓语动词,所以这里的and为并列连词,而非从属连词5.Laughedatbymanypeople,hecontinuedhisstudy.
(让步)=Althoughhewaslaughedatbymanypeople,hecontinuedhisstudy.6.Givenanother10days,wearesuretocompleterepairingthemachine.(条件)
=Ifwearegivenanother10days,wearesuretocompleterepairingthemachine.◆过去分词作状语,前边可加when,while,unless,once,asif/though,if,though,although等连词,构成“连词+过去分词”形式,但是,连词because一般没有这种用法,请观察以下句子1.Whenaskedaboutherage,shekeptsilent.2.Ifseeninanotheraspect,thematterisn’tsosimpleasitlooks.3.Evenifinvited,Iwillnottakepartinthepartytobeheldduringtheepidemic.4.Thoughsurprisedtoseeus,thehostgaveusawarmwelcome.5.Oncepublished,hisnovelwaspopularwithyoungest.6.Thoughwounded,
thebravesoldiercontinuedtofight.7.Ifheatedtoahightemperature,
