Whenababyrhino（犀牛）wasfoundweakandaloneinanationalparkinSouthAfrica,she,aluckyrhino,

wasimmediatelytransportedtotheICUatCareforWildRhinoSanctuary（庇护所）.Atonlyafewhoursold,she

ThebabyrhinoarrivedattheshelterinDecemberandwasnamedDaisy,butanotherinjuredanimalhad

alreadyarrivedthemonthbefore.ItwasababyzebranamedModjadji.Althoughsheisn'tthesamespecies,she

understandswhatDaisyhasbeenthrough.Modjadjiwasadmittedtotheshelter'sICUattheendofNovemberafter

beingfoundmotionlessandbarelybreathingonthereserveafterheavyrainsandstorms.Modjadjiwasthoughtto

beonlyaweekold.

Unlikelyastheirfriendshipmayseem,DaisyandModjadjiwerequicktoformadeepconnection.Asthey

grewstrongerandbraver,theircuriositygotthebestofthem,andtheystartedinteractingwitheachother.Rhinos

areverysocialanimalsandrequirecompanionship.ModjadjiisfantasticcompanyforDaisyandveryaffectionate

towardher.Fromdrinkingmilkoutofbottlesto“helping“someoftheworkerswiththeirpaperwork,these

adorablefriendsjustlovebeingaroundeachother.
