1.Introduction

TheCyclingClub,hereinafterreferredtoastheClub,isestablishedtopromotethehealth,fitness,andsocialinteractionofitsmembersthroughcyclingactivities.TheseregulationsaredesignedtoensurethesmoothoperationoftheClub,thesafetyofitsmembers,andtheadherencetoethicalstandards.AllmembersoftheClubareexpectedtofamiliarizethemselveswithandcomplywiththeseregulations.

2.Membership

2.1Eligibility

MembershipintheClubisopentoindividualswhoareatleast18yearsofage,unlessaccompaniedbyaparentorguardian.Membersmusthaveavalidbicycleandappropriatesafetygear,includingahelmet,gloves,andreflectiveclothing.

2.2ApplicationProcess

Tobecomeamember,anindividualmustcompletethemembershipapplicationform,provideproofofage,andpaytheannualmembershipfee.ApplicationswillbereviewedbytheMembershipCommittee,andacceptancewillbebasedontheavailabilityofspacesandtheapplicant’ssuitabilityfortheClub.

2.3MembershipFees

TheannualmembershipfeewillbedeterminedbytheBoardofDirectorsandmaybesubjecttochange.Feeswillbecollectedatthebeginningofeachfiscalyear.Memberswhojoinafterthefiscalyearwillpayapro-ratedfee.

2.4MembershipDues

MembersarerequiredtopaytheirmembershipduesinfullbytheduedatespecifiedbytheClub.Failuretopaytheduesmayresultinsuspensionorterminationofmembership.

2.5MembershipTermination

MembershipmaybeterminatedbythememberatanytimebywrittennoticetotheClub.TheClubmayterminatemembershipfornon-paymentofdues,violationofClubregulations,oranyconductdeemeddetrimentaltotheClub’sinterests.

3.ClubOperations

3.1Meetings

RegularmeetingsoftheClubwillbeheldmonthlyorasdeemednecessarybytheBoardofDirectors.SpecialmeetingsmaybecalledbythePresidentorupontherequestofatleastone-thirdofthemembers.

3.2BoardofDirectors

TheBoardofDirectorswillberesponsiblefortheoverallmanagementoftheClub.TheBoardwillconsistofthePresident,VicePresident,Secretary,Treasurer,andatleasttwoothermembers.TheBoardwillmeetquarterlytodiscussClubbusinessandmakedecisionsonmattersaffectingtheClub.

3.3Committees

TheClubmayestablishcommitteestoassistinthemanagementofspecificaspectsoftheClub’soperations.CommitteememberswillbeappointedbytheBoardofDirectors.

3.4Activities

TheClubwillorganizeavarietyofcyclingactivities,includinggrouprides,races,andsocialevents.AllactivitieswillbesubjecttotherulesandregulationsoftheClub.

4.Safety

4.1SafetyEquipment

AllmembersmustwearahelmetatalltimeswhileparticipatinginClubactivities.Othersafetyequipment,suchasgloves,reflectiveclothing,andlights,mayberequireddependingontheactivity.

4.2GroupRidingRules

Whenridinginagroup,membersmustfollowtherulesoftheroad,communicatewitheachother,andrideatapacethatissafeforallmembers.Theleadriderwillberesponsibleforsettingthepaceandensuringthesafetyofthegroup.

4.3SoloRiding

Memberswhochoosetoridesoloareencouragedtodosoduringdaylighthoursandonwell-maintainedroads.Theymustwearappropriatesafetygearandbeawareoftheirsurroundings.

5.EquipmentandFacilities

5.1Bicycles

Membersareresponsibleformaintainingtheirbicyclesingoodworkingcondition.TheClubmayprovidelimitedtoolsandbasicrepairservices,butmembersareexpectedtohavetheirownrepairkits.

5.2ClubFacilities

TheClubwillprovideadesignatedareaformemberstostoretheirbicyclesandequipment.Membersareexpectedtokeeptheareacleanandfreeofclutter.

6.Discipline

6.1Violations

Memberswhoviolatetheseregulationsmaybesubjecttodisciplinaryaction,includingwarnings,suspension,orterminationofmembership.

6.2Appeal

MemberswhowishtoappealadisciplinaryactionmaydosobysubmittingawrittenappealtotheBoardofDirectorswithin30daysoftheactionbeingtaken.

7.FinancialRegulations

7.1Budget

TheClubwillmaintainabudgetthatisapprovedbytheBoardofDirectors.Thebudgetwillincludeincomefrommembershipfees,sponsorships,andothersources,aswellasexpensesforactivities,equipment,andfacilities.

7.2FinancialReporting

TheTreasurerwillprovideafinancialreporttotheBoardofDirectorsandmembersatleastonceayear.ThereportwilldetailtheClub’sincomeandexpensesandprovideanoverviewoftheClub’sfinancialhealth.

8.Dissolution

8.1VoluntaryDissolution

IntheeventofvoluntarydissolutionoftheClub,theremainingassetswillbedistributedtoacharityorotherorganizationwithsimilarpurposesasdeterminedbytheBoardofDirectors.

8.2InvoluntaryDissolution

IntheeventofinvoluntarydissolutionoftheClub,theremainingassetswillbedistributedinaccordancewiththelawsofthejurisdictioninwhichtheClubisincorporated.

9.Amendments

Theseregulationsmaybeamendedbyatwo-thirdsmajorityvoteofthememberspresentataspecialmeetingcalledforthatpurpose.Noticeoftheproposedamendmentsmustbegiventoallmembersatleast30dayspriortothemeeting.

10.FinalProvisions

TheseregulationsrepresentthegoverningdocumentoftheCyclingClub.TheyaresubjecttochangeasdeemednecessarybytheBoardofDirectorsandmembersoftheClub.

I.Membership

2.Obligations:

a.ToabidebytheClub'sregulationsandrules.

b.ToactivelyparticipateinClubactivitiesandcontributetotheClub'sdevelopment.

c.TomaintainthegoodimageoftheClub.

d.Topaythemembershipfeeandotherchargesasrequired.

III.ClubActivities

1.RegularActivities:

a.Groupcyclingtripsonweekends.

b.Fitnesstrainingandtechniqueworkshops.

c.Socialgatheringsandculturalexchangeactivities.

2.SpecialActivities:

a.Organizingcyclingcompetitionsandparticipatinginexternalevents.

b.Holdingseminarsandlecturesoncycling-relatedtopics.

c.Collaboratingwithotherorganizationstopromotecyclingculture.

IV.ManagementCommittee

1.Composition:TheClub'smanagementcommitteeconsistsofapresident,vice-presidents,andcommitteemembers.

2.Responsibilities:

a.ToformulateandimplementtheClub'smanagementregulations.

b.ToorganizeandsuperviseClubactivities.

c.TomanagetheClub'sfundsandproperty.

d.Toelectandremovecommitteemembers.

V.FinancialManagement

1.Revenue:Membershipfees,donations,sponsorship,andotherlegitimateincome.

2.Expenditure:Clubactivities,maintenanceoffacilities,personnelsalaries,andothernecessaryexpenses.

3.Audit:TheClub'sfinancialstatementsshallbeauditedannuallybyanindependentauditor.

VI.DisciplinaryMeasures

1.MemberswhoviolatetheClub'sregulationsmaybesubjecttodisciplinarymeasures,includingwarnings,fines,orsuspensionofmembership.

2.MemberswhoseriouslyviolatetheClub'sregulationsorcausesignificantdamagetotheClub'sinterestsmaybeexpelledfromtheClub.

VII.AmendmentstotheRegulations

1.ThemanagementregulationsmaybeamendedbytheClub'smanagementcommitteewiththeapprovaloftwo-thirdsofthememberspresentatageneralmeeting.

2.Theamendedregulationsshalltakeeffectafterbeingannouncedtoallmembers.

VIII.FinalProvisions

1.Thesemanagementregulationsareformulatedinaccordancewiththeprinciplesofvoluntariness,equality,andmutualbenefit.

2.ThemanagementcommitteeshallinterpretandimplementtheseregulationsinaccordancewiththeClub'sobjectivesandinterests.

3.Anydisputesarisingfromtheimplementationoftheseregulationsshallberesolvedthroughconsultationandnegotiation.Ifnecessary,therelevantlawsandregulationsshallbefollowed.

I.MembershipManagement
