WhatisMidAutumnFestival?什么是中秋节？01中秋节是中国传统节日之一，每年农历八月十五，中国人都会庆祝中秋节。TheMidAutumnFestivalisoneofthetraditionalChinesefestivals,whichiscelebratedeveryyearonthe15thdayoftheeighthlunarmonthandChinese.TheMidAutumnFestivalisanancienttraditionalfestivalofourcountry,alsoknownassendthemoonFestival,theMoonFestival,reunionFestival.中秋节是我国的一个古老的传统节日，又叫做寄月节、月亮节、团圆节等。TheMidAutumnFestivaloriginatedintheancienttimes,popularizedintheHanDynasty,finalizedintheearlyTangDynasty,prevailedintheSongDynasty.TheMidAutumnFestivalistheautumncustomsynthesis,hassustenanceofthefeelingofmissing,prayforharvest,happiness.中秋节起源于上古时代，普及于汉代，定型于唐朝初年，在宋朝盛行。中秋节是秋季时令习俗的综合，有寄托思念之情，祈盼丰收、幸福。TherearethreetheoriesabouttheMidAutumnFestival:oneistheworshipofthemooninancienttimes,thesecondisthecustomofworshippingtheearthgodinancienttimes,andthethirdisthecustomofpanionunderthemoon.关于中秋节有3种说法：一是古代对月亮的崇拜，二是古代祭拜地神的遗俗，三是月下伴侣的习俗。TotheChinese,MidAutumnFestivalmeansfamilyreunionandpeace.Thefestivaliscelebratedwhenthemoonisbelievedtobethebiggestandfullest.TotheChinese,afullmoonisasymbolofprosperity,happiness,andfamilyreunion.对中国人来说，中秋节意味着团聚、平安。人们觉得，中秋节的月亮最大、最圆。满月象征着繁荣、幸福和团圆。Chang'eascendedtotheMoonPalace,andaccordingtoancientbookssuchastheWesternHanDynasty's"Huainanzi",itwasbecauseshestoletheimmortalmedicinethatherhusbandYiaskedforfromtheQueenMotheroftheWest,andflewintotheMoonPalaceandbecameatoadthatpoundedmedicine嫦娥登上了月宫，据西汉《淮南子》等古书的记载，是因为她偷吃了她丈夫羿从西王母那里要来的不死药，就飞进月宫，变成了捣药的蟾蜍ThemostwidelyspreadstoryoftheMidAutumnFestivalisthestoryofChang'erunningtothemoon.中秋节最广为流传的故事是嫦娥奔月的故事。TheoriginoftheMidAutumnFestival中秋起源02It’ssuchanimportantfestivalthatmanypoemswerewrittenaboutit,storiesandlegendsaboutthefestivalarewidespread,anditsoriginshavebeenguessedatandexplainedbygenerationsofChinese.因为中秋节的重要地位，历代诗人都会为中秋节写诗，关于中秋节的故事、传奇在民间广为流传，中秋节的起源也被历代中国人探究。MidAutumnFestivalhasahistoryofover3,000years,datingbacktomoonworshipintheShangDynasty(1600–1046BC).中秋节有三千多年历史，可以追溯到商代时对月亮的崇拜。Theterm"MidAutumn"firstappearedinthebookRitesofZhou(周礼),writtenintheWarringStatesPeriod(475–221BC).Butthetermonlyrelatedtothetimeandseason;thefestivaldidn'texistatthatpoint.“中秋”一词最早出现在战国时期《周礼》一书中，但是该词只和时间和季节有关，当时还没有中秋节。ThereisalegendthatEmperorXuanzongoftheTangDynastyvisitedtheMoonPalaceinhisdreamandheardawonderfulsong.据传，唐玄宗曾在梦中去往月宫并听到优美的歌声。IntheTangDynasty(618–907AD),itwaspopulartoappreciatethemoon.Manypoetslikedtocreatepoemsrelatedtothemoonwhenappreciatingit.唐代时赏月风靡，诗人在赏月之时佳作连连。IntheNorthernSongDynasty(960–1127AD),the15thdayofthe8thlunarmonthwasestablishedasthe"MidAutumnFestival".Fromthenon,sacrificingtothemoonwasverypopular,andhasbeeacustomeversince.北宋时期，农历八月十五才被正式确立为中秋节，从那以后，为月亮献祭盛行，从那以后便成为风俗。TheMidAutumnFestivalfallsonthe15thdayofthe8thlunarmonth，usuallyinearlySeptembertoearlyOctoberoftheGregoriancalendarwithfullmoonatnight.每年农历八月十五日，是传统的中秋佳节。这时是一年秋季的中期，所以被称为中秋。AdultswillusuallyindulgeinfragrantmooncakesofmanyvarietieswithagoodcupofpipinghotChinesetea，whilethelittleonesrunaroundwiththeirbrightlylitlanterns.此时，大人们吃着美味的月饼，品着热腾腾的香茗，而孩子们则在一旁拉着兔子灯尽情玩耍。Itisatimeforfamilymembersandlovedonestocongregateandenjoythefullmoonanauspicioussymbolofabundance，harmonyandluck.在这天，每个家庭都团聚在一起，一家人共同观赏象征丰裕、和谐和幸运的圆月。MidAutumnFestivalcustoms中秋习俗03ManytraditionalandmeaningfulcelebrationsareheldinmosthouseholdsinChina,andChina'sneighboringcountries.Themaintraditionsandcelebrationsincludeeatingmooncakes,havingdinnerwithfamily,gazingatandworshippingthemoon,andlightinglanterns.大部分中国家庭以及中国的邻国都会举行许多传统的庆祝活动，主要庆祝方式包括吃月饼，吃团圆饭，赏月和点灯笼。1.赏月
