Abalancebetweenthefamiliarandthenewistheproductofdeliberate

curationandisincreasinglywhatoccupiersandconsumersalikeareseeking.foundthatbreadthofretailmixisthemost

influentialfactorinconsumers'decisionstospendtimeinadestination,with71%ofrespondentsexpressingadesiretodiscovernewbrands.

Thisisreflectedincadogan'sleasingapproach.cadoganhascuratedamixofglobal

flagshipstores,firstto-Londonconcepts,anddistinctiveindependents,creatingarangethatrewardsboththefirst-timevisitorandtheregularcustomer.

Theresultsofthisstrategyaremeasurable.overthepastsevenyears,78%ofcadogan'slettingshavebeenfirst-to-Londonretailandrestaurantoperations.Additionally,20%ofcurrentoccupiersopenedtheirfirststandaloneukstoreontheEstate,withthehighestconcentrationonking'SRoad.Tosupportthis,cadoganensuresthatbrandtakes

Thisconcentrationofemergingandexclusiveoccupiersreflectsatwo-wayselectionprocess.Internationalanddirect-to-consumerbrandscontinuetochoosetheEstateastheirpoint

ofentryintoLondonand,insomecases,intoEuropealtogether.Recentexamplesincludevarley'sfirstglobalflagship,Jonak,MrMarvis,andNeedle&Threadontheking'SRoad.

onsloanestreet,LAbasedullaJohnsonisopeningitsfirststandaloneEuropeanstorewhileDeMellierisopeningitsfirstglobalflagshiponsloanesquare.

TheEstate'sgravitationalpullfortheseoperatorsspeakstothestrengthofitsestablisheddestinationcredentialsandcadogan'sleasingdecisions,inturn,reinforcethosecredentialsbysustainingfreshnessandvarietyacrosstheportfolio.
