JustthenIrealisedthatIhadzerocashinmywallet.IflashedhimanapologeticsmileasIpulledout

myPortuguesebankcard.Hetrieditseveraltimes,butthecardmachinejustdidnotplayalong.Afeeling

ofhelplessnesswashedovermeasIsawthebusqueuethinningout.
