orderhadimmediate,real-worldapplications.Whilestudyingthetopic,hewasaskedby
LyndonJohnson'sadministrationtoassesstheprogressoftheVietnamWar.After
touringtheplaceheargued,in1967and1968,thatAmerica'sstrategyinSouthVietnam
