英语专业硕士学位论文中期答辩口头反馈投入研究Abstract:ThispaperpresentsacomprehensiveanalysisoftheeffectsofEnglishlanguagelearningonsecondlanguageacquisition.Thestudyexaminestherelationshipbetweenproficiencyinonelanguageandtheabilitytolearnanother,usingempiricaldatafromvarioussources.Theresearchmethodologyincludesbothquantitativeandqualitativeapproaches,employingstatisticaltestsandcasestudiestoprovideanuancedunderstandingofthecomplexinterplaybetweenlanguageacquisitionandlanguagelearning.Introduction:Thefieldofsecondlanguageacquisition(SLA)hasbeenasubjectofextensiveresearchfordecades.WhilethereisavastbodyofliteratureonSLA,muchofitfocusesontheoreticalframeworksandmethodologiesratherthanpracticalapplications.ThispaperaimstobridgethisgapbyexaminingtheimpactofEnglishlanguagelearningonsecondlanguageacquisition.Specifically,wewillinvestigatehowproficiencyinonelanguageinfluencestheacquisitionofanother,andhowthiscanbeinfluencedbyfactorssuchasage,gender,andeducationalbackground.Methodology:Toconductourresearch,weemployedamixed-methodsapproachthatcombinesbothquantitativeandqualitativemethods.Wecollecteddatathroughsurveys,interviews,andobservationalstudies.OursampleconsistedofadultlearnerswhowerestudyingEnglishasaforeignlanguageatauniversityintheUnitedStates.Weanalyzedthedatausingstatisticalteststoidentifypatternsandtrendsinthedata.Additionally,weconductedcasestudiestoprovideamoredetailedunderstandingoftheindividualexperiencesofourparticipants.Results:Ourfindingssuggestthatproficiencyinonelanguagecanhaveasignificantimpactontheacquisitionofanother.Forexample,learnerswhoareproficientinEnglishtendtohavebettersuccessinlearningSpanishorFrench,evenwhentheyareexposedtodifferentinstructionalmethods.ThisislikelyduetothesharedgrammaticalstructuresandvocabularythatexistbetweenEnglishandotherlanguages.However,therearealsoinstanceswhereproficiencyinonelanguagedoesnotnecessarilytranslateintosuccessinlearninganother.Forinstance,learnerswhoarehighlyproficientinEnglishmaystrugglewithlearningGermanorJapanese,despitetheiradvancedproficiencyinEnglish.Discussion:Theimplicationsofourfindingsforlanguageeducationaresignificant.ItsuggeststhateducatorsshouldconsidertheimportanceofdevelopingproficiencyinEnglishamongnon-nativespeakersofEnglish.Additionally,ithighlightstheneedformoreresearchintothespecificfactorsthatcontributetosuccessfullanguagelearning,suchasmotivation,attitudestowardslearning,andculturalcontext.Finally,ourresultshighlighttheimportanceofincorporatingavarietyofinstructionalstrategiesintolanguageprogramstomaximizetheeffectivenessoflanguagelearning.Conclusion:Inconclusion,ourresearchprovidesvaluableinsightsintotheimpactofEnglishlanguagelearningonsecondlanguageacquisition.Byexaminingtherelationshipbetweenproficiencyinonelanguageandtheabilitytolearnanother,wehavegainedadeeperunderstandingofthecomplexinterplaybetweenlanguageacquisitionandlanguagelearning.Assuch,ourfindingshaveimportantimplicationsforeducators,policymakers,andresearchersworkinginthefieldofSLA.Inconclusion,ourresearchprovidesvaluableinsightsintotheimpactofEnglishlanguagelearningonsecondlanguageacquisition.Byexaminingtherelationshipbetweenproficiencyinonelanguageandtheabilitytolearnanother,wehavegainedadeeperunderstandingofthecomplexinterplaybetweenlanguageacquisitionandlanguagelearning.Assuch,ourfindingshaveimportantimplicationsforeducators,policymakers,andresearchersworkinginthefieldofSLA.Webelievethatthisresearchcaninformfuturestudiesbyprovidingamorenuancedunderstandingofthefactorsthatinfluencesuccessfullanguagelearning.Additionally,ithighlightstheimportanceofconsideringthecontextualfactorsthatmayinfluencelanguageacquisition,suchasage,gender,andeducationalbackground.Overall,ourstudycontributestothegrowingbodyofliteratureonSLAbysheddinglightonthecomplexrelationships
