12、passage with a story happening in a restaurant , where a homeless man expresses thanks to a man holding the door for him. He points out that there is a lack of good manners in todays world. He provides some evidence, by taking some examples, one of which is that fewer men hold open doors for those b

13、ehind them, to illustrate his point. At the end of the article, the author points out that good manners are of vital importance for people to ease their everyday stress and create a more beautiful world. But you can control stress which is caused by fear, uncertainty, doubt and lack of control. Anger may be the root of this stress, especially for hard-working professional

15、women and people with no goals in life. To relax and take control, try the NICE factors: new, interesting, challenging experiences. And follow Ben Franklins example by writing down the major goals you want to achieve in your life. For the problems over which you have no control, you have to learn to

The time you spend at the office may be the most stressful part of your day, but it doesnt have to be. You have a greater ability to shape your office environment than you may realize

22、, is mainly about the harmful effects of stress. Part III, composed of 6 paragraphs (from Para. 6 to Para. 11), is designed to analyze the main factors leading to undue stress. Part IV, formed of 9 paragraphs (from Para. 12 to Para. 20), is mainly about some suggestions from Eliot as to how to deal
