14、把某物借给某人”,英语用lend sth to sb,其中用介词to。如: he lent his pen to me. 他把他的钢笔借给了我。 三、从是否接双宾语来看 lend 可接双宾语(即可用于 lend sb sth),但 borrow 则不能接双宾语(即不能用于 borrow sb sth)。如: could you lend me some money? 你能否借给我一点钱?,12. either 也(不) (1)either 副词. “也(不)”,仅用于否定句中,用于句末 too-“也”,用于肯定句和疑问句中,位于句末 also -“也”,用于肯定句中,常位于助动词之后,实义动词

15、之前 (2)either代词,“(两者之中)任何一个”,可单独使用.也可做连词,和or连用构成either .or.“或者或者”连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词采用就进原则。 如:either he or i am a student.,13. ask for 要求,索要,完整形式为ask sb for sth 向某人要某物 如: please ask him for the book. 请向他要那本书。 ask sb for sth 向某人要某物 ask for sth 要求得到某物,section b,1a when you choose clothes. what is important

21、whatelsedoyouwant?你还想要别的什么?,(2)else用作副词 else用作副词时通常放在疑问副词when,where,how等的后面。 如: whereelsedoyouwanttogo?你想去别的什么地方吗? whenelsecanimeetyou?我其它什么时间可以与你见面? 由上可知,无论else用作什么词性,它通常放在被修饰的词语之后。,辨析other与else else作形容词,也可以用作副词,意为“别的;其它的”,常放在疑问代词who,what,which等后面,它不修饰名词 other作形容词,意为“另外的,其他的”常用于名词前。 如;在房间里你还能看见别的什么

22、东西吗? what other things can you see in the room? what else can you see in the room?,辨析except与besides except /besides 都有“除之外”的意思,但 except “除了.之外没有.” besides “除了.之外还有” eg: we go to school everyday except sunday. eg :besides english he did well in maths and chinese. 除了英语,他的语文和数学也学得很好。,you could ask one

(2) enough 作副词用,修饰形容词、副词、动词时一般放在这些词之后。如: she is not careful enough to do the work.,2. argue with sb=have an argument with sb与某人争吵、与某人争论, argue with sb about sth就某事与某人吵架。 如: 我与汤姆就那事争吵了一整天。 i argued with tom about the matter all day.,3. out of style 过时的、落伍的,也可以说out of date, in style 时髦的,流行的 如: 你的思想已经过时了。 your mind is out of style
