1、完型填空I, for one, am from ready to use online courses for mylearning. Dont get me wrong. I am very happy about all the communication andlearning opportunities the courses have given us. But for me thoseopportunities should not be used to replace classroom activities. In otherwords, they are only tools

2、 to help me learn what has already been served in the classroom.I love the classroom. I love classmates. There are fortystudents in my class right now, and I think its great. I even love havingclassmates who are better than me. And, lets not forget the smell of ink onpaper , the sound of chalk on a

3、blackboard, the hardness of a wooden bench orthe heat inside the classroom in early September. I love it all. But most of all,I love having a teachera “real live” teacher. I get excited when I am in theclassroom with a good teacher. I learn in a way that has been proven to work. Iam given insight no

4、t only into a certain subject, but also into the world.What makes having a classroom teacher so .special? A goodteacher pushes me to succed. A good teacher rewards me with praise when Ihave done well and stays positive and gives me hope when I am down .Idont believe that a teacher using a virtual cl

5、assroom can .reach out tome in the same way. A teacher communicating.through the Internet cannot sharethe same type of relation a classroom teacher and student share.I guess that I am lucky to have access to so many excellentclassroom teachers. I will never forget the kindness and commitment thattho

6、se teachers have shown me. Their examples make it hard for me to accept away of learning that does not include them. I can boast that I never quit a job without being offered a better one. We cant all start out at the top. Most of us

38、 need to pay out dues and work from the bottom up. After managing the small company for which I hauled garbage I found a job with the city public works office managing a small department. Now ,after 25 years of working in the garbage business , I manage all of the citys trash removal. Along the way

39、I learned that a job well done is never looked down on, and the person who does it will always triumph.Where is the “can do” attitude that makes our country great ? It doesnt matter what you do, as long as you work hard and do your best .Young people need to commence with finding a line of employmen

40、t that needs them , and quit looking for perfection in their initial position. If work were supposed to be enjoyable, it wouldnt be called “work”. 7I was walking from the door of my apartment building to the corner store.
