Currently will be used across 22 different “application

3、configurations”. The S8800 employs one or two of the new quad core Intel I7 “Nehalem” Processors. Standard processor speed is 2.26 GHz 2.93 GHz version is available if needed. “Nehalem” CPU supports a 3 channel memory architecture. All configurations use the new 10600 DDR3 Registered RDIMMs (1333 MH

4、z). 2 GB DIMMs are utilized across all S8800 platforms. Maximum of 16 GB of DRAM per installed CPU with 2GB DIMMs Hard drives are SAS 10K 146 GB drives by default. 15K drives are available as an option.
