The application technology of a gas cylinder has reached a high level in developed countries. Composite cylinder has been developing rapidly since the second half of the last century in western countries, while the study and design of composite cylinder in our country has just started. It has great theoretical significance and practical value to research in the field. In this paper, by based on the existent studies, the whole structure of the gas cylinder is designed and the solid models are built on the SolidWorks platform. Then, the engineering drawings are also completed. In the end, the assembly process is determined. It will be useful for the design standardization of the gas
