Talking about the picturesAsk the students to talk about the three pictures on page 41. Two minutes later, ask three students to describe the pictures. T: Now please turn to page 41 and

10、 look at the pictures. Who are the people in the pictures and which sports do they play? Have a discussion with your partners. Then I will ask three of you to introduce the three people to us. 23、ent and disagreement. Two students make up a group. One needs to read the sentences in Activity 2, and the other one should make a reply to the sentences with the following expressions: 1) Im afraid I dont agree; 2) You may be right; 3) I agree absolutely. For example: One thinks that football is th

24、e greatest sport in the world. If the other one agrees with him, he or she should say “I agree absolutely”. Now, please work in pairs. Give the students enough time to practise in pairs. Then ask several pairs of students to give a performance in the class. Discussion Ask the students to discuss the
