15、mages,独立主格结构,构成:,独立主格结构由主语(名词或代词)加分词、不定式、形容词(短语)、副词、介词短语或名词(短语)组成,整个结构在句中做状语,修饰主句中的谓语动词。,使用独立主格结构是因为出现了与主语不一致的情况。,1.名词(或代词)+现在分词。如:,eg. There being no buses, we had to walk home. 因为没有车子,我们得步行回家。,2.名词(或代词)+过去分词。如:,The composition completed, he decided to talk a walk outside. 作文完成以后,他决定外出散会儿步。,3.名词(或代

16、词)+不定式。如:,So many clothes to wash, I cant go to the film with you. 还有那么多衣服要洗,我不能和你一起去看电影。,4.名词(或代词)+形容词(短语)如:,Everything ready, they set out for the destination. 万事俱备,他们朝向目的地进发。,5.名词(或代词)+副词 如:,The boy fell asleep, the light on. 孩子入睡了,灯开着。,6.名词(或代词)+名词(短语) 如:,There are 12 athletes in the team, most

17、of them blacks. 队中有12位运动员,他们大多数是黑人。,7.名词(或代词)+介词短语 如:,The lady looks shining, necklace around neck. 脖子上戴着一条项链,这位女士看上去光彩照人。,注意: with + 名词(代词)+分词(短语)也是一种独立结构,常表示伴随情况。 如:,In parts of Asia, you must not sit with your feet pointing at another person. 在亚洲的一些地方,你不可以脚指着别人坐。,独立主格结构的句法功能,独立主格结构常在句子中作时间、原因、条件、
