1、Miracle in the Rice Field,上海市行知实验中学 沈裕华,father of hybrid rice(“杂交水稻之父”),中国农民说,吃饭靠“两平”,一靠邓小平(责任制), 二靠袁隆平(杂交稻)。 西方世界称,杂交稻是“东方魔稻”。他的成果不仅在很大程度上解决了中国人的吃饭问题,而且也被认为是解决下个世纪世界饥饿问题的法宝。国际上甚至把杂交稻当作中国继四大发明之后的第五大发明,誉为“第二次绿色革命”。,袁隆平,1931年9月7日生,中国工程院院士,现任国家杂交水稻工作技术中心暨湖南杂交水稻研究中心主任、湖南省政协副主席。中国研究杂交水稻的创始人,世界上成功利用水稻杂交优势
2、的第一人。他于1964年开始从事杂交水稻研究,用九年时间于1973年实现了三系配套,并选育了第一个在生产上大面积应用的强优高产杂交水稻组合-南优2号。为此,他于1981年荣获我国第一个国家特等发明奖,被国际上誉为“杂交水稻之父”。他先后获得了联合国知识产权组织“杰出发明家”金质奖、联合国教科文组织“科学奖”、英国让克基金会“让克奖”、美国费因斯特基金会“拯救世界饥饿奖”、联合国粮农组织“粮食安全保障奖”、日本“日经亚洲大奖”、作物杂种优势利用世界“先驱科学家奖”、“日本越光国际水稻奖”等八项国际奖。,Brief Introduction,I saw rice plants as tall as
