2、填空选项设置的词重在考查对实词的理解和运用，尤其是考查动词、名词、形容词和副词等实词的运用并根据语篇大意和上下文进行逻辑推理和判断的能力。例如，2011年湖北高考英语完形填空中动词考查占8个，名词4个，副词4个，形容词2个，其它考点各占一个。,跳过空格，通读全文， 把握大意,再读全文，反复检查,结合选项，综合考虑，初定答案,瞻前顾后，先易后难， 个个击破,完形填空的解题总则,把握整体,具体分析,在做完形填空时，不要忙于动手做题目，应该先通读全文，以使对文章内容有个整体了解。这是一个很重要的步骤，切勿错误地认为可有可无。有的同学在答题时，或是为了抢时间，或是由于不良的习惯，在未通读前就边阅读边填
