9、nd formed a theoretical base for the exploitation of atomic energy. He won a 1921 Nobel Prize for his explanation of the photoelectric (光电的) effect.Isaac Newton (1643 1727) English mathematician and scientist He was an English mathematician and scientist who invented differential calculus (微分学) and

10、formulated the theory of universal gravitation, a theory about the nature of light, and three laws of motion.
