provides college students with many purpose the survey sets its goal at investigating how well the college students can take advantage of the resources provided in our school library. then, we hope to give some suggestions to our school library so that it can be improved in some aspects. subjects in order to make the survey more persuasive, we did the research among students in our university including both undergraduates and postgraduates. 157 copies of questionnaires in total were handed out and 150 were collected back which are effective. interviewees are from different majors and different grades. 41 of them are freshmen, 42 are sophomore, 21 are junior students, 30 are senior students and6 are postgraduates. time and place time: the survey takes about one week, from november 10th to november 16th, XX. the questionnaires were distributed on november 10th and collected back on november 11th. place: hebei polytechnic university instrument questionnaires are used to collect data. considering the questionnaire in english may bring some trouble to the interviewees with different english levels, we adopt the chinese version instead of the english one (see english and chinese versions in appendices). 1the interviewees are selected at random to make the data more reliable. for instance, the questionnaires are given to the students studying in classrooms and to those staying in dormitories. whats more, students from all grades are made sure to participate in this investigation. 2. data collection and analysison 10th november, we investigated 157 students, among whom 150 returned their questionnaires. the rest did not return or finish for some reasons. to ensure the validity of the survey, the six members in our team were divided into three groups to hand out the questionnaires, going to different places and investigating different students. most of the interviewees were willingly to help us with the survey. they finished the questionnaires carefully. among the questionnaires returned, some questions were not answered, and some were answered casually, which brought us some trouble when we did the data collection. in general, most of the information we collected was useful and accurate. data analysis on the use of booksthe analysis on the use of books is based on question 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. frequency analysisaccording to question 2 and 4, we get a result as follows (see figure 1).figure 1 2result: as it can be seen from figure 1, most students go to library once or twice a week. some students go there more than five times a week. the freshmen and junior students go to the library more frequently. reasons: 1) the freshmen have more spare time and they are curious about the library where they can find almost all the books and periodicals they are interested in. purpose analysisquestion 5 is designed to know the college students purposes of going to the school library. figure 2 3 figure3result: figure 2 and 3 reveal that the sophomores and the junior students can make full use of the resources in the library. their purposes are clear: they hope to improve themselves on all aspects. while the freshmen have less pressure, so they prefer the periodicals just for entertaining and widening their horizon. the seniors and postgraduates like to read periodicals because they want to help with homework or essay writing and know more about current book variety analysisbased on question 9, we get figure 4 : on borrowing booksaccording to the statistics based on question 7 and 8, we learn that % of the students borrow less than 10 books in one semester while % borrow more than 30. 70% say that they can finish reading most parts of the borrowed books before returning them. this is a good phenomenon. since different people have different plans for study, sometimes they dont need to finish the whole. instead, some parts of books are enough. on facilities and reading roomsin consequence of question 6, it 走访等方法后,对商务英语专业市场人才需求的状况,对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发 的要求等情况进行了调查与分析,以有利于改革高职高专教育和教学工作。 就业市场商务英语人才需求 在国民教育体系中,职业教育是一个不可忽视的重要组成部分,因为它是促进经济、社 会发展和劳动就业的重要途径。职业教育就是就业教育,社会需求是职业教育的生产力。只 有坚持改革、创新,根据市场需求,及时调整专业,才是职业教育可持续发展的根本途径。20*年 8月至 20*年 9月,吉林省教育学院外语系高职商务英语专业课程开发与课程 设置改革的研究课题组在吉林省、辽宁省、浙江省以及北京、上海、深圳、杭州、义乌、 大连等地进行一次市场人才需求社会问卷抽样调查,力图调查社会对商务英语专业人才的需 求情况,了解一些基本情况及所占比例,为商务英语专业进一步发展提供依据,并按社会需 求和就业导向进行课程开发和改革,重新制定以就业为导向,以学生职业生涯规划为主线的 教学计划,使专业及其课程设置更趋完善、有效,并符合当代社会发展的需要,具有时 效性。 一、关于调查问卷 1、问卷调查的问题 本次调查问卷是由课题组成员共同设计的。由三部分组成,即调查单位基本情况、主体 问卷以及对商务英语专业课程设置的情况调查,共设计问题 35个,其中调研单位及被调查者 个人基本情况 5个,市场人才需求和课程设置调查具体问题 30个。2、问卷调查的途径 此次调查问卷发放采取的方式有两种,一是邮寄问卷,二是通过走访的方式,直接到调 查单位发放问卷,与管理者进行面对面的交流和采访,并把答卷当场提交上来。邮寄的调查 问卷以及走访单位的范围包括全国 5个省、12 个市,共发放问卷 500份,收回问卷 156份, 其中有效问卷 128份。 二、基本情况 本次调查的单位主要涉及国营和事业单位、民营企业、中外合资企业、商贸和股份 制公司、个体及私营公司等。从企业规模看,大型企业占 22、0%、中型企业占 31、5%、 小型企业占 46、5%。从企业的经济类型看,国有企业占 10、4%、民营企业占 23、5%、中外 合资企业占 9、0%、商贸和股份合作制公司占25、5%、个体和私营公司占 31、6%。 调查以公司和企业管理者为对象,其中企业经营者职务为董事长、总经理、厂长、 企业高层副职占 26、0%,市场部及人事部经理职务占38、5%,工程师和技术人员 8、7%,公 司职员 17、5%,其它职务占 9、3%。受调查的 128人中,男性占 64、1%,女性占 35、9%、 三、对商务英语专业人才需求情况 在本次调查中,在问到调查单位目前是否有引进商务英语人才计划时,有60、9%的单位 选择了“有” ;暂未考虑和没有的分别为 23、4%和15、6%。这说明市场对商务英语专业毕业 生需求是比较大的,培养的前景是乐观的。调查中,认为最受企业欢迎的商务英语专业毕业 生类型是“学习成绩好,并具有较强的社交能力的”占 60%,其次是“社交能力强”的占 27、 9%,而“学习成绩好”的占 12、1%、可见综合素质高是最受欢迎的毕业生类型。 在问到对商务英语专业毕业生的具体要求(可多种)时,提出“英语口语好”的比例最 多占 61、6%,依次是“交际能力强”占 53、8%, “具有扎实的基本功,业务能力强”占 42、 6%, “有一定的商务实践能力”占 40、5%, “英语+商务”占 19%,毕业生“要过英语四级”的 占 18、5%, “有国家二级计算机证书”的占10、3%, “具有良好的职业道德和就业观念”占 5、 6%, “形象气质佳”的占 3、1%。 对于职业资格证书对毕业生是否重要的问题上,调查单位表示重要的比例为45%,认为 不太重要,重实际能力的占 54、7%。由此可看出用人单位已倾向于看重毕业生的实际能力和 水平,但从统计的比例数也可看出目前不少单位还是重视毕业生是否拥有各种证书。 四、对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发的要求调查在本次调查中,调查单位对商务英语专业教学和课程设置的问题是比较关心的。在问到 商业英语专业的英语基础课是否需要以商务内容为学习材料时,有 82、5%的单位选择了同意; 不同意也不反对和不同意的分别占 12、3%和 5、2%。这表明商务英语专业的英语基础课的教 材以商务内容为学习英语技能的材料是符合市场需求的。在商务英语专业的专业课教学应该用英语进行还是借助汉语讲授的问题上,同意借助汉 语讲授商务知识的比例最高占 45、3%,同意用英语讲述的比例占 33、6%,不同意也不反对的 比例是 21、1%。可见,赞成借助本族语学习商务知识的比重较大,说明专业知识的学习与英 语技能的培养相关性不是十分大。 在问到针对商务英语专业的学生在大学期间应开设哪些课程为好时,有31、5%的经营者 建议开设“商业英语精读”和“商业英语听说”课程;要求开设“国际贸易实务” 、 “商 务礼仪”和“市场营销学”的比重也较大分别为25、6%、14、1%和 10、9%;“商务英语写作”占 18%, “电子商务”占 16、3%, “国际金融”15、3%, “经济学” 占 14、6%,还有提出开设“社会学”和“管理学”等。 五、存在的主要问题及改进建议通过此次调查了解到,用人单位对学校培养学生方面有较高的要求,其中认为学校应该 培养学生能够与各种人打交道,具有较强的沟通能力的比例最高达到了 43、5%,其次是:培养学生具有较强的实务操作能力(21、5%) 、培养能力和知识相并重的学生(19、3%)不太清 楚或无建议(15%) 。 在问到“您作为用人单位,能否就高等职业院校商务英语专业的学生培养方面,提出一 些宝贵意见和建议”时,有的调查单位表现出很强的社会负责感,提出了很多建设性的意见 和建议,归纳起来有以下几个方面;1)提高学生的整体素质;2)培养思想道德好的学生;3) 要求学生打好英语语言基础,口语流利并具有较强的商务实践能力;4)学校要注重教学质量; 5)找实践单位,参加社会实践学习,进行实用型教育;6)要培养学生具有一定的书面表达 和翻译能力;7)鼓励学生增强自信精神;8)培养学生具有社会交往能力,提高整体形象等。从此次调查问卷可以看出,用人单位对毕业生和学校的要求都具有较强的实用性和针对 性的特点,既要求学生有较高的英语语言技能,尤其是英语口语水平,又需要学生具有较好 的商务实践和商务沟通能力,也对学校提出了培养学生的综合素质和提高教育教学质量的要 求。这些调查结果应引起我们极大的关注和重视,有待在今后的商务英语专业教学中进行调 整和强化,它也是进行商务英语专业课程开发和课程设置改革的重要依据,具有宝贵的参考 和实用价值。 英语调查报告范文(二)小学英语课程已大面积开设,本人就开县小学英语教学现状展开了调查。经过实地 调查走访以及与其他乡镇教师交流,对本县乡镇小学英语教学现状有了初步的了解。现就几 点突出问题提出自己的对策。 一、问题 1、学校对英语教学不重视 经了解,许多乡镇学校没有专职的英语老师,英语课全由本班的语数教师兼任。由于在 质量监测考试中,英语只占 20分,就形成这样一个普遍观念英语是副科,不如语数重要。 所以,英语课几乎被语数老师占用,改上为语数课。尽管有的学校有英语专业的教师,但这 些老师却被学校安排上语数课,未实现专科专用。有的学校甚至从未开设英语课,而是在临 只有我一位英语教师,三、四、五、六年级的英语课全由我一个人上。每天我要备四堂课, 写四份教案,制作四份课件,批改四个年级的作业,有时还要参加学校的听课活动。我感到 教学工作负担十分沉重,我每天都在疲于备课上课,很难有充分的时间钻研教材,提高自身 的素质,提高教学技能。同时由于专职英语教师少,各学校缺乏教学研究的氛围,领导对英 语教研这一项工作也不是很重视,即使曾派英语教师出外学习,但回来后也只是个人写一写 收获,很少组织集中讨论英语教学。因此教学观念和方法得不到及时更新,教学只能停 留在低层次水平上。例如,我校就我一位英语教师,遇到问题时我没有前辈可以请教,也没 有同事可以交流讨论,总是自己一个人在闭门造车。 3、村校教学设备严重不足 小学英语教学形式要生动,活泼和直观,语言活动形式以听说唱演赛为主,需要配备录
