Love is also an eternal topic in literature. Throughout the ages, there are many stories that give up everything and even life for love, and therefore different writers have written a hymn of love in the long river of history. Although people always hope that good love can make the two love people eventually come together and lead a happy life, but the reality is always cruel, in the history of the world literature, love stories produced a lot of sad, sad, moving stories. As we have learned, “Romeo and Juliet“ is one of Shakespeares most famous tragedies of love, which has been talked about by people over the past one thousand years. This beautiful and sad love story is like the night sky with the bright stars from time to time shining on us, in the history of world culture, it left us many things to think about. We all know that “Romeo and Juliet“ is Shakespeares early creation of a tragedy, but also Shakespeares first more mature love tragedy. Although this work is a love tragedy, but everywhere in the work is filled with beautiful spring and moving youth, making this love tragedy become so romantic and moving. “Romeo and Juliet“ was created at the end of the 16th century, which time coincided with the embryonic period of the Renaissance, when the British feudal thoughts also began to end. The England of this period was under the rule of Queen Elizabeth, and the whole dynasty seemed so consolidated and united, and the economy was quite developed. The author of the humanist ideology at that time is full of infinite confidence, so his works show a kind of optimistic liberalism and color. In fact, in the “Romeo and Juliet“, the two heroes of the family conflict is not only the feudal clan between the clash, or the two forces of society at that time the conflict and contradiction struggle. The conflict between the two families actually represents the contradiction between societies at that time. And in this contradiction, the story of Romeo and Juliet love story is bound to go to a tragedy, which is the tragedy of history. At the beginning of the Renaissance at the time, humanism in the personal knowledge cannot reach and then the integrity of the feudal ideology was going to compete, and only the power of love seems to have the power to break the feudal ideas. Ultimately, this shock did shake the decadent feudal system and the traditional moral values. “Romeo and Juliet“ calls for the protagonists death, but also played an important part on the then tyrannical feudal system of a challenge. Shakespeare, with his poetic pen, portrayed us with a touching love story that made the tragic death colorful and beautiful, like a beautiful song resounded throughout the sky of human history, romantic and beautiful, sad and moving. Chapter 1. Romeo and Juliets persistence in love 1.1 The Firm Attitude toward Love First of all, Romeos attitude towards love is firm. Romeos attitude towards love is expressed in contrast. When he first pursued Rothschild, he was a love for lovers and the pursuit of depression. He said: “Love is a sigh of smoke blowing, cannot eat the mouth of the honey.“ Feeling love is “pain groan!“ His love for Rutherine, like “teenagers do not know the taste of taste“, is a young love of love and longing. But he is the love of love at first sight, “Oh, just love the shadow, and has given such a rich joy, if you can love the love itself, how sweet that will be!“ This is Romeos love toward Juliet. And immediately bid farewell to his inherent contrived and sad, immersed into the heartfelt joy and happiness, become unusually funny and elegant. It is not cowardice, but love that makes his mind more open; when he has to be honored, he is showing all the hero and strength. From which you can see his attitude towards love is more advanced than the time, Romeo can wake up from the confusion, the right to know his love, which is more commendable. At the beginning of the play, Juliet is a lady in a feudal family. Before she was in love with Romeo, she was a lady in the feudal family, frank, simple and shy. “Why do you want to do it? Then as long as you swear to be my lover, I do not want to be surnamed Ketelep“. This is Juliets deep love for Romeo. In this love, she quickly matures: request a formal marriage. “Your purpose is to marry, then tomorrow I will call a person to your place to protect love; treat his father to marry, she initially refused “. With the words of St. Peters Church and St. Peters name, I will never let him marry me as his happy bride, “and then with the help of the godfather of Lawrence to get the syrup, and changed his attitude, trying to reduce the parents wary Good service, and can eventually go away with Romeo fly away. Facing the heavy barriers from ethical views, Romeo and Juliet just meet secretly, telling each other their mutual care, they have the courage to pursue their own love, the pursuit of their own happy life, violating the feudal society order. In a time that the era of feudalism still exist, especially when the two families are with the enmity which has lasted for so many generations , the two young people actually have the courage to put aside the so-called ritual, leaving the family hatred in private life, privately married in the church. Perhaps in the modern society this is also a great courage to make the decision, but Romeo and Juliet have done this, thus we can never deny the firmness of the love between the two lovers, if one of them is not firmly established, then the future of love will not exist, let alone to resolve the hatred of the two families. So for that era, there is no reason to say that this is not the pursuit of freedom, the pursuit of happiness, the performance of humanism. Romeo and Juliet are the typical images of the humanists in this play. The two heroes are the two family members, but they have accepted the influence of humanistic thinking, the world, people, and love has a new concept. Juliet and Romeo, just in 5 days time, have experienced a love at first sight, back father married, both for love, and thus the achievements of a masterpiece of love. In “Romeo and Juliet“, the protagonists Romeo and Juliets death just broke the past peoples lives which are only the fate of the decadent feudal society that will destroy the future of young people, Romeo and Juliets love trends to become a good example, thus the people in the world once again got to know that what was left in the world wasnt only money, there was also true and pure love. They use their young life to prove the great love, but also indicate that the future life is full of infinite hope. The new bourgeoisie began to go to the stage of history and became an important force of society at that time. This was not only an economic base and a structural change, but also a huge change in the superstructure. At this time the bourgeoisie will bring their own outlook on life, values to the stage of history, and ultimately concentrated in the humanist ideology. Humanism thinkers constantly advocate people-oriented, people are the fundamental and the center of the world at that time, people are a starting point of thought and behavior, so they treat the theology and the church at that time with a resistance attitude, they strongly emphasize the value of themselves, the rights of themselves, together with dignity. It is against the taboo of all the hobbies, enjoy and pursue. They oppose the ignorance of the church and the philosophy of being divorced from reality, constantly praising the wisdom of man and the strength of the individual, emphasizing rational cognition in ideological proposition, and are exploring nature in nature. 1.2 Resistance to Forced Marriages Juliet and Romeos marriage came across lots of difficulties. Because the family of Romeo and Juliet have feud, so Juliet was forced to be married by his father in order to prevent them from falling in love. The priest helped them by thinking of a way: drinking fainting drugs to suspend the life, and then dig a grave to pretend to be dead and then flee with Romeo for eloping, she did it and wrote to Romeo. The messenger was unable to be pass the letter because of the suspicion of being infected, Romeo know Juliet “death“ message through the brothers, he is distraught and decided to go to the Juliet cemetery. Romeo bought a highly toxic bottle of drug, came to the tomb of Juliet, next to Juliet, he drank poison, after he died. Juliet woke up and found that Romeo was dead and refused to be taken away by the priest to the nunnery, and after the priest escaped, Juliet took Romeos sword and stabbed herself. They took each other in the arms for a total of sleep. Juliet has already positioned the essence of their youthful life in love in the play. When the father arranged her marriage, it is being loved that supports her initiative to seek a solution; Juliet seems to be born for love and sacrifice also for love. She longed for free loyalty of love, but in the fathers persecution, in addition to the beginning of the words of resistance, she almost did not think of another resistance method and just blindly want to seek help from others. “I want to go to the priest to help him; a co-ordination method has been exhausted, I will still die on this road.” A humanist image should not yield in the feudal forces and family pressure, and will have the courage to resist; Juliet is not complete perfect in the rebellion when it shows the immaturity of humanism, although Juliet did not have a positive resistance in the end, in the end, she just searched for “death“ to resist the feudal family forces to issue a complaint. This further proves the complexity of Juliets humanistic image. Then we can talk about Romeo, Romeo was also born in the feudal family, but he did not inherit the feudal tradition of thought, but was conform to the development of the times, he betrayed the feudal family, became a firm humanist; but his character was also very complex, Catherine was sentimental, so weak as to say: “I have lost my own; I am not here; this is not Romeo, he is somewhere else.“ He wanted to love but she could not love; this is his mood at that time. But when he met Juliet, he was able to climb the window bravely; the same persons attitude towards love is very different. Michio and Juliet are the aristocratic youth who represent the ideal of humanism in the era of Shakespeare. Their pursuit of love is their rights and the embodiment of human nature. As one of the noblest emotions of mankind, it is worth using life and blood in exchange for. So, in the works, the death of the heroes always threatens the love, but they are not afraid of death: Romeo forgot their own risk of being set up in the enemy; he jumped into the wall to see lovers. He risked his life in Verona, and went to Juliets house. With such bedding, he was dedicated to love, just to be trusted. Love means life for him, without Juliet, life is meaningless, and death becomes a natural choice. After finishing “I curse you, fate!” He decisively established his own time and manner of death, without the slightest hesitation and wavering. This shows that he has grown into a complete, pure lover. And Juliet was ready to drink syrup, she was full of fear, but love makes her overcome the fear; in the cemetery, Juliet woke up, facing the dead Romeo, without hesitation, presented their own lives which were beautiful like flowers. The struggle and fighting between Romeo and Juliet and the aristocratic family reflects the struggle of humanism and feudalism. The struggle is sharp, cruel and tragic. The young generation took the concept and spirit of “love“ into the stage of history, although they paid the price of life for “love“ and freedom, they have embodied the inevitability of the growth of humanism and the inevitable requirement of social progress. The tragedy reflects the resistance of the humanists to the feudal oppression and the pursuit of the ideal of love, pointing the critical edge to the centuries of decadent and brutal ethical values, pointing to the real feudal forces. In Romeo and Juliet, the worlds attitude towards love should be said to be more tolerant. The death of the two heroes finally awakened the stubborn, conservative aristocratic class conscience, the two families of revenge. This can also be understood as the victory of humanism “love“. Chapter 2 The Appearance of Anti-feudal Consciousness The return of humanism was reflected by the two families, which are with the generations of hatred. The two family, just because of their traditions and inherited wishes, they wont permit their generations and youths to get married, this is why Romeo and Juliets wedding will face so much difficulty, they even have to pay their lives just to protect their love. They love each other so much ,but the two feudal families would never permit it, this shows the lost of humanism, they consider tradition and hatred more important than love, thus their humanism was terrifying, they would kill you if you have betrayed them ,if someone dare violate their wishes, they have to pay a lot even their lives. Thus, on this prospection, two family members are without humanism. However, when Romeo and Julie was dead, when they have seen that Romeo and Juliet just paid their lives for their love, they were also moved, their humanism told them that they shouldnt always be likes, just to keep the hatred for generations, to become enemies of centuries, thus, they decided to remove their hatred, they didnt want to become enemies again, Romeo and Juliet, just taught them to consider enemies as friends with their pure, great love and lives, on the other hand, this has shown that their humanism have come back, that also means that love can conqueror everything even though its the hatred which has lasted for centuries between two traditional and feudal families. 2.1The Manifestation of In
