wild animals should be protectedwild animals have played an important role in our daily life. we are friends and family. however, now a lot of wild animals are facing extinction because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. we should do our best to prevent wild animals from being caught and killed.now i will show you some tragedies occurring around us. for example, in order to get the skins, skeletons and even whole animals, more than 1,000 tigers were reduced to skin and bones in the last decade. the number of wild tigers was in steep decline, down from 100,000 a century ago to as few as 3,200 today. the seizing occurred mainly in india, china and nepal, and india had the highest number of seizers. actually tigers are not intended to hurt people if they are not infuriated. how can people do these merciless things to them. (more than 1,000, )the situation has been pretty fierce, but we can change the condition of seizing if we want to do our best to protect wild tigers. firstly, we should protect the environment that they are living in. guarantee that wild tigers have enough land and food. in order to achieve this, the only thing that people can do is to stay away from wild tigers land. secondly, governments and world organization should put up severe laws and rules to restrict and punish seizers. any one who break the laws and kill tigers will be punished or put into the prison. thirdly, everyone should establish and hold this common sense: everybody has the right and duty to prevent animals from catching and killing, because the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. (more than 1,000, )besides the seizers and other risks, which have killed a lot of animals, climate change is also a very important issue that has changed wild animals living environment greatly. due to industrialization, the number of factories and private cars is continually growing. in consequence, more and more exhaust gas is pumped out, such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide. excessive increase of carbon dioxide can accelerate the process of the “greenhouse effects,” which would lead to glacial melting of arctic regions. sulfur dioxide can cause acid rain, which would corrode the buildings, grassland and trees. sulfur dioxide kills a lot of animals at the same time. (impacts and adaptation, )actually, the giant panda is the victim of climate change. giant panda is the rarest member of the bear family and among the worlds most threatened animals. particularly, the giant panda lives on bamboo; however, recently, because of the greenhouse effect and acid rain, there are less bamboo trees in the world, especially in the southwestern area of china where giant pandas mainly live. this bamboo-eating member of the bear family faces a number of threats, especially the scarcity of land and food. (giant panda, )what should we do to protect this special animal group? as we can see from the foregoing paragraphs, the scarcity of land and food is the main cause of the giant pandas extinction. so what we need do is to protect the land where giant panda lives from narrowing and invading. for example, governments can establish the panda reserves to protect pandas from attacks. the chinese government had established over 50 panda reserves, protecting more than 2.5 million acres. it is really an effective measure. (giant panda, ) actually, not only the wild animals living in land are facing the extinction, but also the animals living in rivers and seas are in a dangerous position. for example, the dolphin is a kind of animal which most people love. dolphins are lovely, active and beautiful. however, they are facing danger now. there are an estimated 40 million river dolphins in south america. even though this may sound like a healthy population, dolphins are more threatened now than ever. deforestation, water pollution from mining, overfishing, the use of dolphin meat as bait and infrastructure projects are some of the biggest threats to these species. (worlds rivers and, )we are familiar with the atlantic bluefin tuna, and some of us may have eaten this kind of fish. it is indisputable that bluefin tuna is very delicious, but now we should know that we cant eat it any more, because the number of bluefin tuna is decreasing sharply. if unsustainable fishing practices in the eastern atlantic and mediterranean are not stopped, bluefin tuna fisheries are near collapse and the species is at serious risk of extinction (tigers, polar bears, )to solve these problems and keep the diversity of sea animals, governments should take leadership on biodiversity conservation, ensuring sustainable river flows for river dolphins, and this action is taken to meet our needs and improve living conditions in ways that benefit both river dolphins and people. as to protect the bluefin tuna, the most important thing is to keep our mouth away from this kind of delicious creature. we should encourage restaurants, chefs, retailers, and consumers to stop serving, buying, selling, and eating endangered bluefin tuna until this amazing species shows signs of recovery. (tigers, polar bears, )at last , i want to appeal to everyone that we and animals are family. can you imagine if peo
