generator, steam turbine generator and their metal parts and components.this standard is applicable to product in general domestic climatic conditions or product in humid tropics or product to be exported.2. normative referencethe following normative documents contain provision which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this national standard. for dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding correction) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. however, parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. for undated references, the latest edition of the normative document referred to applies.gb8923 rust and antirust film iso 14726-1shipping and sailing, the identify colour of pipeline system capacity main colour and medium3. requirements3.1the supplier of work blank should clean the metal surface before paint on casting and weld assembly (primarily carry out heat treatment on blank if necessary, then clean it). after removing the oil, rust and dirt on the surface of work piece, carry out primer treatment. the rest painting should be finished in the workshop(include primer total thickness reach the request of table 2-1 and 2-2 ); the supplier of work finished should paint the every parts of workpiece except topcoat.3.2quality management departments should verify each painting procedure strictly in accordance with specified time (except for the ones specified by contract) from relative standard (this standard included). only when it is measured up can do the next working procedure in the workshop. after pretreatment the unqualified should not be painted or mechanical-processing; after painting the unqualified should not be assembled or binninged.3.3technology engineers should work out the painting technology according to the drafts and the technology requirements of this standard. painting workers must operate according to technology standard.only when the lacquer is dry can examiners do the packing-up test.3.5should customers request arbitration on painting quality in doubt, relative national standard arbitrament from “normative reference” can be adopted, or arbitrate through negotiation of both parties therein, or other applicable standard.4. marking drawings4.1 on the design drafts,for the general products needed painting,designers must mark “painting according to q/hf 6401-2008”on the technical requirements of related drafts, with the exception of special requirements. 4.2 on the design drafts,for the same surface of the same parts contacting with different working environments(spiral, draft tube, box of hydraulic turbine generator imbed parts and the bottom plate of generator ),draw the painting diagrammatic sketch on the proper position and mark the types of working environment (symbols according to table 1)and the size. for example:the symbol of hydraulic turbine generator draft tube surface contacting with concrete is pc, when contacting with air the symbol is pa, according to picture 1. 图1 table1 the provision of working environment types and symbols surface have priority to the surface contacting with medium,such as top cover and bottom ring antiwear board flowing surface .at one side surface contacting with the end surfaces of guide blade,at the other side it contacting with mechanical-processing surface and contacting with water .top cover and bottom ring antiwear board flowing surface should be considered as concerting surface.5. the technical requirements of rust-proof and painting5.1 all the surface of non-processing parts generally should be painted, with the exception of special requirements.5.2 when there are oil, heat and other special requirements ,should use the appropriate paint materials.5.3 surface requirements before parts painted.5.3.1 must remove the deadhead, fins, bulges of metal parts and components. non-processing surface should not have burr and acute sides. 5.3.2 casting to clean the sand and oxide, weld parts to remove wildings slag, flying, oxide etc. 5.3.3 rust removing can be shot blasting, handwork and power tools etc.for non-processing surface contacting with oil ,all the roughcast of sets in humid tropics or to be exported, welding roughcast of sets in humid tropics to be exported, use the shot blasting treatment:steam-turbine generator:stator frame、the baseplate of high baseplate set;hydraulic turbine generator: vertical hydraulic turbine generator:upper bracket、frame、upper shield;horizontal hydraulic turbine generator:frame、inner(outer)head cover、base plate;hydraulic turbine:vertical hydraulic turbine :water inlet、spiral、draft tube cone、draft tube elbow etc. flowing surface,top cover、regulating ring、support of bearing、bearing cover;horizontal hydraulic turbine :the flowing surface of water inlet 、spiral、draft tube cone、draft tube bend 、top cover、bottom、regulating ring、sealing cowling、bearing cover、guide vane lever etc.after shot blasting treatment, some parts, which still did not reach the standard, needed treating again with various tools.the metal parts and components, which are not treated with shot blasting, should be cleaned with grinding wheel, emery cloth, wire brush etc.clean the bottom with shot blasting to the cleanness of sa 2.5 grade, compare with picture according to requirements of 3.2 in gb8923-88. which using handwork or power tools to grind should reach the cleanness of st 2 grade, compare with the picture according to requirements of 3.3 in gb892-88. after removing the rust the roughness of metal surface should ensure to ry=4070m, assess according to gb/t132885.3.4 purge residual rust dust carefully with compressed air, clean the dirty part with solvent. clean the oil and water by packing cloth.5.3.5 when the surface is cleaned and passed inspection, paint the supporting primer after shot blasting treatment immediately, the working piece should be finished within 24 hours or 12 hours in humidity air.5.3.6 after cleaned , the metal parts and components of sets in humid tropics or to be exported must be painted with phosphating primer, concerting with the rust-proof primer.5.3.7 if adopt acid cleaning to remove the rust of steel parts and components, the welding spatter must be removed completely before acid cleaning; after acid cleaning, use fresh water clean again, together with lye and hot water.5.3.8 for the aluminum parts and aluminum alloy operating in outdoor or under extreme condition, anodic oxidation treatment should be carried out , or paint etching primer .5.3.9 for the casting metal and weld assembly to go through heat treatment, the specified paint should be after the heat treatment.5.4 the painting requirements of parts5.4.1 primer is the base of paint coat, which can not only act for antirust of metal, but also add adhesive force to top coat. thus the primer with high corrosion resistance and greater adhesive force can be chosen; primer can be painted one or two coats depending on used environmental conditions and specific operation requirements. each coat should be painted thin and even, with the work piece covered completely, and the procedure of drying should be carried out strictly in compliance with specified time. spraying, brushing, and impregnation can be used while priming. phosphating primer can only be coated once, and act as the undercoat of other primers, after having be painted with phosphating primer for 2 hours under 25c, must paint the rust-proof primer which match with it .the time for drying phosphating primer is less than 30 minutes under 25c. the time for drying 704 inorganic silicate zinc primer is 1 hour under 25c. the rests are 24 hours under 25c.5.4.2 putty can improve the appearance of paint coat, which will not decrease its mechanical strength or protective capability. putty should not be used or should be used as less as possible. in order to keep corrosion prevention of paint coat, putty should be made as thin as possible, which then should be polished smooth after drying for specified time, then paint primer. in order to ensure the corrosion prevention and mechanical strength, use the epoxy ester putty. drying time is 24 hours below 25c.5.4.3 coat number of topcoat should be chosen in accordance with environmental conditions and requirements on ornamental of product or parts. topcoat can only be made after the primer being dry completely. topcoat should be even, clean, smooth and gloss with the color homogeneous and surface pleasant to eyes, and there should not be any default of wrinkle, flow mark, pinhole or blister. each topcoat should cover last paint coat completely (primer, putty or top coat). in order to obtain several coats of especially firm paint film, each coat should be polished smooth, which must begin after the surface being dry completely. after the surface being polished, no visible primer should be seen. drying temperature of top coat is 25 , and drying time is 18 hours.5.4.4 painting should be done in clean, dry, well-ventilated, and the temperature should less than 5c, the relative humidity should below 70c. the necessary measures should be taken to ensure the quality of painting in the freezing cold, sun exposure, wind, rain, now and other bad weather. otherwise nothing should be done.5.4.5 compressed air must not consist of moisture or oil trace while spraying; oil separator must be used to remove moisture and oil trace from the air.5.4.6 while painting stove lacquer on the cast aluminum alloy, after cleaning the oil spots on the surface with nitro dilution, for example gas, the cast aluminum alloy should be put into the baking oven (150-200) c for 1h to 2h, (drying time depending on the size of work piece), or other dry treatment, then paint h06-2 iron oxide zinc yellow epoxy ester primer as soon as possible. 5.4.7 when the surface is not easy or can not be painted after components is assembled. it should be painted before assembled.5.4.8 coatings should be protected from dirt or injury before the paint is completely dry.5.4.9 two different colour of paint phase grounding, the limits must be clear and tidy.5.4.10 two parts which need often to demolish,the painting coat of its junction must be smooth,the joints should be obvious. can not fall of or paint together. 5.4.11 the colour of surface coating on each floor should be a slight different in order to identity. the last topcoat should be painted after qualified test (when the product is not packed the last topcoat should be painted before shipping)5.1.12 in the installation or during transport, the surface coating of parting partial in juried. it should be (at the request of the original coating) repaired. 6. painting system choose the choice for painting and rust-proof system of steam-turbine generator and their metal parts and components in
